  • Publication number: 20200041136
Abstract: A cooking appliance includes an insulated cooking chamber positioned within a cabinet and an air plenum defined between the cabinet and the insulated cooking chamber. A fan assembly includes a first fan and a second fan positioned adjacent each other and having a void region immediately downstream of their outlets. The fan housings may be positioned in direct contact with each other such that the flows of cooling air exiting each fan interact with each other to reduce or eliminate expansion losses. Alternatively, the fan housings may be separated by a small airgap to reduce expansion losses while entraining additional cooling air.

  • Patent number: 9981364
Abstract: A hand tool impacting device may include, a drive shaft with an aperture, an impaler disk, and a floating pin positioned within the aperture of the drive shaft. A set of circular ramps on the outer edge of the impaler disk may interact with a stationary pin insert to translate the drive shaft and create an impacting motion. A pair of springs placed against either side of the floating pin may allow a specialized tool bit to engage or disengage the impaler disk, thereby allowing selective use of translational impacting motion, or rotational torque. An impact bit for engaging the impaler disk may include, a tool head configured to engage a work piece and a tool shaft configured to be inserted into a hollow drive shaft to engage a floating pin. According to one embodiment, the impact bit includes a number of sleeves to guide the tool head during operation.

  • Publication number: 20160288877
Abstract: An electronic derailleur control system for a bicycle has controller operatively connected to a derailleur of the bicycle and to at least one sensor of the bicycle, and a memory on which instructions are stored that are executable by the controller to control shifts of the derailleur. The system is receives feedback data from the sensor on a performance parameter of the bicycle, and analyzes the feedback data to evaluate performance conditions. The controller calculates adjustments to the derailleur shifts based on the performance conditions, with automatic iteration to repeatedly accept feedback and optimize the shift distance based on the feedback. The system can be activated by rider command or by satisfaction of pre-set performance conditions stored in the memory. A derailleur and a method for controlling shifts on this basis also are disclosed.
