Abstract: A quick response code system and methods of associating a quick response code with an item of interest are the subject of the present disclosure. In one embodiment, the system includes a code tool and an information modification tool. The code generation tool is configured to generate a quick response code that associates the item of interest with a record in a data repository, while the information modification tool that allows a user to access, view and modify information associated with the record. According to varying embodiments, the system prompts a first user to share the quick response code and the associated record with a second user.
