  • Publication number: 20220242053
Abstract: System, devices, and methods for coupling portions of a medical device handle are provided. A male portion (202) and a female portion (204) of the handle may be coupled together using a sealant (244) such as room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (RTV) using in conjunction with ultrasonic welding. The RTV may be applied to one of the male or female portions and the portions may be joined using a tongue (215) and groove (2259 connection, displacing the RTV from the weld site. The RTV helps to seal the bondline (206) after ultrasonic welding.

  • Publication number: 20080026610
Abstract: A sensor adaptor circuit housing assembly and method of manufacturing includes a circuit board, a housing, an input wire, and a connector. The circuit board includes an electrical circuit configured for receiving a sensor signal and generating a sensor characteristic in response to the received sensor signal. The housing includes a body and a cavity defined by inner surfaces of the body and adapted for receiving the circuit board, the circuit board being positioned within the cavity. The input wire is configured for receiving the signal from a sensor and can be formed with an insulated solid or stranded conductor. The connector includes a unitary body, a first end of the unitary body attached directly to an end of the input wire, a second end of the unitary body positioned within the cavity and attached directly to the circuit board and making a first electrical connection with the electrical circuit.

  • Publication number: 20070145407
Abstract: A thyristor and a method for manufacturing the thyristor that includes a gate region extending from the first major surface into a semiconductor substrate and an anode region extending from the second major surface into the semiconductor substrate. A cathode region extends into a portion of the gate region. Optionally, enhanced doped regions extend into the gate and anode regions. A mesa structure having a height HG is formed from the first major surface and a mesa structure having a height HA is formed from the second major surface. The gate region extends under the first major surface of the semiconductor substrate and it extends vertically into the semiconductor substrate a distance that is greater than height HG. The anode region extends under the second major surface of the semiconductor substrate and it extends vertically into the semiconductor substrate a distance that is greater than height HA.

  • Publication number: 20060075009
Abstract: A method of diagnosing a distributed operational system having a field device, a field processing module coupled to the field device, a bitbus, a fieldbus, and an auxiliary processing module communicating with the bitbus and the fieldbus. The method includes generating a field operating characteristic at the field device, processing the field operating characteristic at the field processing module, and generating field operating data including a field diagnostic parameter as a function of the field operating characteristic. The method also includes communicating the field operating data including the field diagnostic parameter over the bitbus from the field processing module to the auxiliary processing module. The method further includes generating at the auxiliary processing module auxiliary field data as a function of the received field operating data and communicating the auxiliary field data over the fieldbus.
