  • Patent number: 5372282
Abstract: A tube squeezing device includes a pair of hollow external rollers and a self-adjusting tension-applying support frame assembly rotatably supporting the external rollers and including a pair of internal stabilizer tubes which extend through the external rollers and a pair of self-adjusting end retainers having a pair of opposite end flanges adapted to abut against the opposite ends of the internal stabilizer tubes, a pair of elongated connector guide pins rigidly attached to opposite end flanges and extending axially therefrom to form tightly fitted connections within the opposite hollow ends of the internal stabilizer tubes, and a middle arcuate-shaped self-adjusting tensioner member extending between and rigidly connected at opposite ends to the opposite end flanges.

  • Patent number: 5297699
Abstract: A tube squeezing device includes a pair of hollow rollers, a coupling strap in a looped configuration inserted through the rollers, and a connection securing opposite ends of the strap together in offset relation to the remainder of the looped strap. Each elongated hollow roller is made of rigid material and has an interior bore extending between and open at a pair of opposite ends. The coupling strap is made of a substantially resilient flexible inelastic material. The strap has a pair of opposite ends and is of a length sufficient to permit the opposite ends of the strap to extend beyond an adjacent one pair of the pairs of opposite ends of the rollers. The connection secures the opposite ends of the coupling strap together to close the looped strap about adjacent longitudinal portions of the rollers. The connection is disposed in the bore of one of the rollers and to one side of an endless path defined by the looped strap.

  • Patent number: 5102081
Abstract: A telescopable pivotal mounting assembly includes a base bracket attachable to a support structure, a support bracket fitted with the base bracket for pivotal movement relative thereto, a releasable holding mechanism, extension brackets and a strapping and tightening mechanism. The releasable holding mechanism connects the support bracket with the base bracket and is capable of adjustment between loosened and tightened conditions for respectively permitting disposing and securing the support bracket at a selected one of different angular positions relative to the base bracket. The extension brackets are adjustably mounted to the support bracket so as to permit telescoping movement of the extension brackets toward and away from one another along a common plane defined by the support bracket to correspondingly shortened and lengthen the distance between opposite outer edges of the extension brackets to thereby match such distance with the width of an appliance to be supported on the extension brackets.

  • Patent number: 4566663
Abstract: An adjustable mount which is particularly useful in attaching an appliance such as a television set or the like in a movable vehicle. The mount is operable to permit swinging of the appliance to and from any one of a number of preselected positions and for holding the appliance in the selected position. The mount incorporates a pair of mounting brackets, one of the brackets having a socket and the other bracket a ball presenting a ball-and-socket joint between the brackets. The socket has a centrally located opening and the one bracket has a slotted disc mounted thereon adjacent the opening. A bolt extends through the ball, the opening in the socket and through the slot in the disc. The bolt has a head on one end and a nut on the opposite end. With the nut loosened the brackets are swingably interconnected for positioning a supported appliance. Tightening the nut clamps the ball-and-socket joint to hold the appliance in the selected position.
