  • Patent number: 7810662
Abstract: A nursery bottle with an automatic shut off mechanism for inhibiting tooth decay. A nipple is attached to a shut off valve, and the shut off valve is attached to a bottle body. The nipple, the bottle body and the shut off valve are in fluid communication with each other. The shut off valve includes a timing mechanism, where the timing mechanism is coupled to a reset actuator that operates the timing mechanism to open the shut off valve for a feeding time period, and where the shut off valve closes to shut off fluid flow into the nipple after the feeding time period expires.

  • Publication number: 20100147219
Abstract: A chemical vapor deposition apparatus is disclosed. The chemical vapor deposition apparatus comprises a chamber having a base plate, a chamber wall, a gas inlet and a gas outlet. The base plate has holes therethrough. A plurality of electrodes extend through the holes of the base plate. The plurality of electrodes are capable of being attached to a power source. At least two of the plurality of electrodes are capable of being electrically coupled to a silicon rod positioned in the chamber. An electrical isolation bushing can be positioned between each of the plurality of electrodes and the base plate. The electrical isolation bushing comprises a sleeve portion surrounding a portion of the electrodes that extends through the base plate and a collar portion surrounding the holes at a surface of the base plate. In some instances, the collar portion can comprise a different material than the sleeve portion.

Abstract: A chemical vapor deposition apparatus is disclosed. The chemical vapor deposition apparatus comprises a chamber having a base plate, a chamber wall, a gas inlet, a gas outlet and a plurality of electrodes each comprising an electrode body and an electrode cap removably attached to the electrode body. The electrode body can be positioned through the base plate. The cap can be positioned inside the chamber. An electrical isolation layer is positioned between the electrode and the base plate. The plurality of electrodes are capable of being attached to a power source. At least two of the plurality of electrodes are capable of being electrically coupled to a silicon rod positioned in the chamber.

  • Patent number: 7343213
Abstract: A computerized system and method is used to collect and record data regarding transmission failures, to analyze the transmission failure data to identify root causes of failures, and to communicate failure source information so countermeasures may be implemented to prevent future failures. Automobile dealers provide transmission failure data, as well as transmissions they are unable to repair, to a manufacturer's repair facility. Transmissions with common problems or faults are identified and selected for addition to a repair facility production schedule. Parts for repairing the transmissions are ordered based on the production schedule. Transmissions are then analyzed in detail and repaired according to the production schedule. As each transmission is examined, data is collected and recorded so that a root cause may be determined and communicated as needed to the manufacturer's production facilities, suppliers, etc. Countermeasures are then implemented to prevent the failures attributable to the root cause.
