  • Publication number: 20150083672
Abstract: A processing system for processing raw slurry material has a barrel member, at least one transport member, and at least one separator member. The barrel member defines a processing chamber and at least one intermediate opening. The processing chamber defines a pre-processing portion and a separator portion. The at least one transport member is arranged within the pre-processing portion of the processing chamber. The at least one separator member is arranged within the separator portion of the processing chamber and configured to define at least one separator gap. As the barrel member rotates about a longitudinal axis thereof, the at least one transport member transports at least a portion of the raw slurry material through the pre-processing portion of the processing chamber, and the at least one separator member transports at least a portion of the raw slurry material through the separator portion of the processing chamber.

  • Publication number: 20150053594
Abstract: A rotary screen separator for processing feed material comprising liquids and solids, the rotary screen separator comprising a separator member, a collector structure, and first and second vane structures. The separator member defines a first perforation region and a second perforation region. The collector structure defines a first material output and a second material output. The vane structures are supported relative to the separator member such that rotating the separator member causes the first vane structure to displace the feed material through the first perforation region at a first material displacement rate and the second vane structure to displace the feed material through the second perforation region at a second material displacement rate. The first material displacement rate is greater than the second material displacement rate.

  • Publication number: 20150008193
Abstract: A separation system for separating solids from a slurry of waste material employs first and second separator assemblies. The first separator assembly has a main housing and a perforated drum supported for rotation relative to the main housing. The second separator assembly has a barrel member and an auger blade supported for rotation relative to the barrel member. The main housing is fixed relative to the barrel member such that rotation of the perforated drum removes a first solids portion from the slurry of waste material and rotation of the auger member removes a second solids portion from the slurry of waste material.

  • Publication number: 20130299395
Abstract: A rotary screen separator for processing feed material comprising liquids and solids, the rotary screen separator comprising a separator member, a collector structure, a drive system, and first and second vane structures. The separator member defines a first perforation region and a second perforation region. The collector structure defines a first material output and a second material output. • Patent number: 8201495
Abstract: A pre-separator for a screw press separator wherein the pre-separator increases the concentration of solid material in a water solid material mixture. The pre-separator is configured to have a frustoconical screen surface where a plurality of wiper blades engage the interior portion of the surface to provide de-watering action, and the plurality of blades are configured to reposition with respect to the center axis of the frustoconical surface to allow for engagement between the interior surface of the frustoconical screen, and the wiper blades.

  • Publication number: 20110253227
Abstract: A cleaning system for a dairy facility comprising a rinse system including a rinse sprayer, a flush system comprising a process system for processing waste water to obtain processed water, a collection system connected between the dairy facility and the process system, and a flush sprayer. The rinse sprayer sprays rinse water in a first zone of the dairy facility, where the rinse water becomes waste rinse water after the rinse water has been sprayed in the first zone of the dairy facility. The flush sprayer sprays the processed water in a second zone of the dairy facility, where the processed water becomes waste processed water after the processed water has been sprayed in the second zone of the dairy facility. The collection system collects the waste rinse water and the waste processed water to form the waste water and directs the waste water to the process system.

  • Publication number: 20110198268
Abstract: The present invention may be embodied as a rotary screen separator for processing feed material. A separator member defines a longitudinal axis, an input port, an output port, a fine perforation region, and a coarse perforation region. A collector structure defines a fine material output and a coarse material output. A support structure supports the separator member and the collector structure. A drive system rotates the separator member relative to the support structure. Operation of the drive system displaces feed material through the fine perforation region and the coarse perforation region. A first portion of the feed material flows through the separator member to the fine material output in the fine perforation region. A second portion of the feed material flows through the separator member to the coarse material output in the coarse perforation region. A third portion of the feed material flows through the output port.
