  • Publication number: 20160289681
Abstract: Provided herein are, inter alia, antiviral recombinant nucleic acid compositions and methods of using the same. The recombinant nucleic acid compositions include nucleic acids encoding antiviral polycistronic RNAs, which are capable of inhibiting viral replication. The antiviral recombinant nucleic acid compositions provided herein are therefore particularly useful for therapeutic applications such as combinational HIV-1 gene therapy.

  • Publication number: 20150342165
Abstract: Provided herein, inter alia, is a humanized mouse with a gene-modified human hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell (GM-HSPC) graft, in which the HSPC cells within the graft are transduced with a gene vector, and gene vector includes a drug resistance gene or a disease treatment gene.

  • Patent number: 5681559
Abstract: The present invention provides a simple and reliable means for isolating populations of hematopoietic cells enriched for stem cell activity on the basis of possession of high CD34 cell surface antigen density ("CD34hi"). CD34.sup.hi cell preparations are useful, for example, for drug discovery efforts, for reconstituting hematopoiesis in an animal lacking a functioning hematopoietic system, and for gene therapies.
