Abstract: An method for managing a sales process via a graphical user interface (GUI) generated by a computer and displayed on a computer display is described. The method includes the step of defining a sales process, the sales process including a first task assigned to first assignee and a second task. The method further includes, at the GUI, displaying a prompt for an identifier of a second assignee upon receipt of an indication that the first task has been completed. The method yet further includes receiving the identifier of the second assignee and assigning the second assignee to the second task. The assignment of the second assignee to the second task is displayed on the computer display, stored in a computer memory device, or displayed on the computer display and stored in a computer memory device.
