The faucet includes a spout having an outlet end, a spray head having an engaging end, and a sleeve disposed between the outlet end of the spout and the engaging end of the spray head and configured to detachably couple the spray head to the spout. The sleeve comprises a substantially rigid first portion and a substantially compliant second portion.

Abstract: A pull-out faucet has a spray head with spray selection and pause control. A spring-loaded push button interrupts outlet spray entirely as long as it is being depressed. A rocker button controls spray through inner and outer sets of outlet orifices, for example, giving the user the option of an aerated water jet or an unaerated shower. The rocker button mounts on an integral pivot post of a valve body that houses a diverter valve that is controlled by the rocker button. The rocker button has a pair of legs that extend through openings in the valve body to engage a groove in the diverter valve. Pivoting the rocker button about a pivot axis by depressing either its forward or aft portion, moves the diverter valve along a valve axis to route flow to either the inner or outer orifices.

A waterway subassembly is removably mounted in the main body using a catch located in the side arm which is accessible from outside the side arm and moveable between a first position that prevents the waterway from dropping out of the housing lower inlet and a second position that permits the waterway to drop out of the housing lower inlet.

Abstract: A heated toilet seat with an outer clam shell type housing and an inner clam shell type housing. A heater wire is positioned in the inner housing to distribute heat. The inner housing is held above the bottom portion of the seat so that little heat is wasted by passing down through the bottom portion. The inner housing can be of essentially the same geometric configuration as the top and bottom portions of the outer housing, and groove and rib structures can tightly enclose the wiring in the inner housing.

Abstract: A storage assemblage is disclosed for cassettes each of which contains an image bearing medium having recorded images and for index print sheets each of which has printed pictures that match the images on the image bearing medium in one of the cassettes. According to the invention, there is provided respective holders for the cassettes each of which includes connection means for securing the holder to one of the index print sheets and fulcrum means engageable to permit the holder and an index print sheet secured to it to be pivoted at said fulcrum means. A binder for storing the holders and the index print sheets includes fixed support means for releaseably engaging the fulcrum means of each of the holders to store the holders and the index print sheets inside the binder and to permit one of the holders and an index print sheet secured to it to be pivoted away from the others to view the index print sheet and to be released from engagement with the fixed support means to obtain a cassette from the holder.

Abstract: A package is disclosed for a cassette containing an image bearing medium having a plurality of images recorded on it and for an index print sheet on which are printed a plurality of pictures that match the plurality of images on the image bearing medium. According to the invention, the package comprises an envelope for storing the index print sheet with its pictures visible, and a holder for the cassette. Respective means are located on the envelope and the holder for engaging to affix the envelope and the holder to each other and for disengaging to release one from the other.

Abstract: A baseband signal is spectrally efficiently transmitted on a broadband transmission medium by inserting gaps in packets of digital data transmitted in a modulated first radio frequency carrier. The transmitted packets of data are received by demodulating the modulated first radio frequency carrier, and the gap is monitored for the presence of digital data thus indicating a collision of simultaneously transmitted packets of digital data. A seed of arbitrary digital bits are used in scrambling each packet of digital data and is transmitted with the packet of data for use in descrambling the data. In retransmitting the packet of data the seed is included. The originally transmitting node receives the retransmitted packet and compares the retransmitted seed with the originally transmitted seed for detecting an error in retransmission.

The back has a fulcrum projecting from one of edge of the back, and a nest open at an inner side of the back to receive a cassette and which projects from an outer side of the back to hold the cassette out of the way of the index print sheet.

Abstract: Apparatus for combining broadband RF signals and baseband signals in a baseband distribution cable includes a bridge for coupling the distribution cable to an RF broadband trunk and to a baseband repeater. The trunk is connected through bidirectional amplifier, an impedance transformer, and a signal splitter for applying the amplified and impedance transformed broadband signal to a plurality of baseband segments. The RF signal from the splitter is passed through a 35 MHz high pass filter to the baseband segment. Baseband signals from a repeater are passed through a 25 MHz low pass filter to the baseband segment. The two filters prevent interference between the baseband and broadband signals.

Abstract: A viewfinder in a camera includes visual composition means manually operable to change from a horizontal frame view of a subject to be photographed to a vertical frame view of the subject without having to change the horizontal orientation of the camera to a vertical one. If a vertical format of the subject is selected for picture-taking, the camera is changed to a vertical orientation and the visual composition means is manually released to return automatically to the horizontal frame view of the subject. Since the camera has been changed to a vertical orientation, the horizontal frame view will appear as a vertical one.

Abstract: A compartment defining a cassette receiving chamber in a photographic camera is movable outwardly from the camera body to insert the type of 35 mm film cassette that contains a non-protruding film leader into the chamber. A loading opening to the chamber has a continuous enclosed perimeter commensurate in shape with an outline of the aforementioned film cassette. This feature prevents the type of film cassette that has a protruding film leader from being inserted into the chamber, by obstructing the protruding film leader.

Abstract: A mode selector member and a recess are disposed in a relatively close relation on the front face of a camera to enable a finger of the user that operates the mode selector member to be readily transferred from the member to the recess, after the member is moved to a selected position. Thus inadvertent movement of the mode selector member from the selected position to an erroneous position, during picture-taking, will be prevented.

Abstract: A still camera comprised of a dual, normal and telephoto, lens with flash, incorporates features which allow controlling several camera functions with a single sliding multi-position flash housing. Position "normal" configures the camera so that the viewfinder has a normal field of view, the flash is unextended, and an objective lens of normal focal length is in exposure position. Position "tele" configures the camera so that the viewfinder has a narrow field of view, a telephoto lens is in exposure position, and the flash is fully extended. Additional positions of the flash housing and lens and viewfinder are also disclosed.
