  • Publication number: 20080116210
Abstract: A baking pan is provided. The baking pan has a baking surface and a sidewall appending therefrom. The baking pan has a top surface and a bottom surface. The sidewall appends from the top surface and terminates in a terminal edge. The terminal edge of the sidewall is disposed at a position below the bottom surface of the baking surface.

  • Patent number: 7024804
Abstract: A braking member attachable to a sledder's boot is provided. The braking member includes a braking surface that is oriented at a specific ranges of angles with respect to the boot. In use, the braking surface engages the snow like an anchor as the sledder traverses snow covered terrain, thereby producing a braking force against sled forward movement. In one embodiment, the braking member is rotatably attached to the boot and is moveable between a first, walking position, and a second, braking position. In another embodiment, the braking member is fixed in the braking position.

  • Patent number: 6349950
Abstract: A sled (24) traversing a surface is provided. The sled includes a shell (22) having an upper surface, a lower surface, and spaced first and second ends. The sled also includes a steering assembly (24) coupled to at least the shell, elongate first and second runners (26a) and (26b), and a pivot assembly (60) extending between the shell and at least one of the first and second runners. The pivot assembly permits pivoting motion of the first or second runner relative to the shell. The sled also includes a first attachment assembly (58a-58c) extending between the shell and at least one of the first and second runners, such that the first attachment assembly permits sliding and pivoting motion of the first and second runners relative to the shell.

  • Patent number: 5648217
Abstract: An oligonucleotide comprising the DNA sequence TTTCCNGGAAA (SEQ ID NO:1) in single stranded or double stranded form, or a derivative thereof, binds to transcriptional regulatory proteins induced by cytokines, growth factors or hormones. Such oligonucleotides are useful in detecting, identifying or purifying transcriptional regulatory proteins. Recombinant DNA constructs comprising the oligonucleotide sequence operably linked to a promoter and a reporter DNA sequence and cells transfected therewith are also disclosed. Also disclosed are DNA-binding proteins other than p 91 which are inducible in a cell by a cytokine, growth factor or hormone, and which, when tyrosine phosphorylated, bind to the above oligonucleotide DNA sequence.

Date of Patent: July 15, 1997

  • Patent number: 4332244
Abstract: An anesthesia mask for laboratory animals comprising a supply tube having a generally conical mask at one end into which the animal's snout is inserted. Pressurized anesthesia gas is delivered through the tube and is prevented from leaking into the ambient environment by means of a second tube which concentrically surrounds the supply tube and is annularly spaced therefrom so that the space can be evacuated by a vacuum source. A holding bar is slidable transversely into the mask to hook onto the animal's incisors.
