  • Patent number: 6546658
Abstract: An elongated shell and internal gripper assembly for gripping and supporting sheet-like posters or pictures for display purposes in a readily exchangeable manner. The assembly comprises an elongated, extruded gripper clip has a planar backing base pivotable distal-most poster receiving edge. The assembly includes an elongated, extruded receiving shell with a gripper clip receiving channel centrally arranged therein and an edge slot at a lowermost portion of the shell members. The gripper clip is slidably received within the receiving channel. The gripper clip has its distalmost receiving edge extending distally beyond the edge slot of the shell to permit display and exchange of a poster or picture therefrom.

  • Patent number: 6467742
Abstract: A poster gripping extrusion device for the close-in maintenance and rigid support of a flexible sheet of display material. The device includes an elongated planar base having a first or distal edge and a proximal or second edge defining a width of said base. A leg extends parallel to the base, the leg having a distal edge and a proximal edge, and only a single web or bridging portion extending between the second edge and the proximal edge of the leg to provide compactness to the device. A pivotable clamp extends from the distal edge of the leg, the clamp providing a first and a second line of contact between the clamp and the base to securely hold a sheet of material therebetween. The clamp has a distalmost edge which extends beyond the distalmost edge of the base portion of the device, to permit ease of manipulation of the device in “close-in” locations.

  • Publication number: 20020139025
Abstract: A multiple component gripper extrusion for the gripping support of a poster display arrangement. The gripped extrusion comprises an elongated extruded back panel having a front face, a back face, a lower edge and an upper edge. An elongated extruded front panel with a panel leg at a proximal portion thereof and a channel at a distal edge thereof is arranged with the back panel. The front panel is integrally connected by a living hinge co-extruded simultaneously therewith. An elongated spring is adjustably disposed between the back panel and the distal edge of the front panel to permit controllable biasing of a poster supported on the back panel by the front panel.

  • Patent number: 5642884
Abstract: A puzzle, solved by arranging scrambled visual information in a predetermined visually recognizable pattern, is provided. In one form, the puzzle comprises a plurality of puzzle pieces arrangeable to form at least one surface according to said predetermined visually recognizable pattern, at least one of said pieces bearing a reflection hologram designed to reconstruct a first form of visual image information when observed at a first viewing angle and a second form of visual image information when observed at a second viewing angle, said first and second forms of visual image information being "different in type". In another form, the present invention provides a puzzle comprising a plurality of puzzle pieces arrangeable to form at least one surface according to a predetermined visually recognizable pattern, and wherein at least one of said pieces bears a reflection hologram designed to reconstruct visual image information, the peak angle of reconstruction being substantially normal to said surface.
