  • Patent number: 11917030
Abstract: A push notification distribution system centralizes the management and delivery of push notifications to applications executing on electronic devices. Registration requests to register applications for push notifications may be aggregated and sent as an aggregated registration request. The delivery priority of push notifications may be managed according to specified preferences. Upon receiving a push notification intended for an electronic device, a delivery priority of the push notification may be changed if an application identifier associated with the push notification is found on a list of application identifiers with designed delivery priorities.

  • Patent number: 8550245
Abstract: In certain embodiments, a welding wire and container assembly includes a container having an interior volume; a coil of welding wire disposed in the interior volume; and a wire container cover. The wire container cover may include a top surface having an opening therethrough to enable welding wire to pass through the wire container cover when the wire container cover is disposed on the container. The assembly also may include a skirt askew to the top surface, wherein the skirt is adapted to produce friction between the skirt and a side of the container when the wire container cover is disposed on the container housing and wherein the skirt is non-locking with respect to the container.

  • Publication number: 20100083529
Abstract: A process and system for drying and cooling products by which relatively low air flow is used such that a substantial amount of the heat added to the products during manufacturing is recaptured to dry the product. The products have starting temperature and moisture content conditions higher than ambient conditions, and the process and system comprise drying and cooling the product using ambient air with minimal additional heated air, if any. The product may move through various drying and cooling sections where air being counterflowed removes both heat and moisture from the product, heating that air and allowing it to further dry the product.

  • Patent number: 7254699
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to microprocessor or microcontroller architecture, and particularly to an architecture structured to handle unaligned memory references. A method is disclosed for loading unaligned data stored in several memory locations, including a step of loading a first part of the unaligned data into a first storage location and rotating the first part from a first position to a second position in the first memory location. Next a second part of the unaligned data is loaded into a second storage location and rotated from one position to another position. Then the first storage location is combined with the second storage location using a logical operation into a result storage location. The storage locations may be, for example, 64-bit registers. The logical operation may be a bit-wise OR operation.

  • Patent number: 7152735
Abstract: A removable cover for a container and a container having the removable cover. The cover may be adapted with an opening to enable wire to pass through the cover with the cover disposed on the container. The container may be adapted to be lifted by inserting a fork, or other lifting member, of a lifting device into the container. The container may comprise a fiber drum having one or more openings, or recesses, adapted to receive a fork of a lifting device. The container may be cylindrical. The container may be adapted to store wire. An adapter assembly may be disposed on the cover to protect the opening in the cover and to direct movement of the wire.

  • Patent number: 7017742
Abstract: A container for storing material, such as welding wire. The container is adapted to be lifted by inserting a fork, or other lifting member, of a lifting device into the container. The container may comprise a fiber drum having one or more openings, or recesses, adapted to receive a fork of a lifting device. The container may be cylindrical. The container may be comprised of a cellulosic material. The container may house welding wire. A method of manufacturing a container adapted to be lifted by inserting a member of a lifting device into the container also is featured.

  • Patent number: 6820195
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an architecture structured to handle unaligned memory references. In one embodiment, a method for loading unaligned data stored in a plurality of memory locations comprises loading a first part of the unaligned data into a first storage location; rotating and sign-extending the first part of the unaligned data in the first storage location from a first position to a second position; loading a second part of the unaligned data into a second storage location; rotating the second part of the unaligned data in the second storage location from a third position to a fourth position; and combining the first storage location with the second location using a logical operation into a result storage location.
