  • Publication number: 20230368186
Abstract: A method relates to a novel approach for utilization of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) as the basis for electronic book publishing creation and storage. Every submission carries its own unique, immutable identity. This process applies this concept to grant users access to a unique decentralized, non-custodial digital document storage solution on the market. This process remains focused on cultivating robust systems around minting, validating, retrieving & verifying NFT-based documentation. This is accomplished by, the method described to mint, archive, and retrieve NFT published electronic books using a proof-of-stake blockchain.

  • Publication number: 20230325826
Abstract: A method related to a novel approach to store, organize, retrieve and authenticate immutable NFT (Non-fungible token) documents on a decentralized proof-of-stake blockchain. This intelligent platform is the following step process where every submission carries its own unique, immutable identity. This process applies the concept to grant users access to a unique decentralized, non-custodial digital document storage solution on the market. The process remains focused on cultivating robust systems around minting, validating, authenticating, retrieving & verifying NFT-based documentation. This is accomplished by the described method to mint, archive, and retrieve NFT documents using a proof-of-stake blockchain as its basis and native tokens as a mode of transaction.

  • Patent number: 8320637
Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a method for analyzing treated fingerprints on a document. A sample document is provided. A digital image of the sample document is obtained. The sample document is treated with a reagent and a hyperspectral image of the document is obtained. The hyperspectral image of the document is analyzed to determine a region of interest and a hyperspectal image is obtained of the region of interest. The present disclosure also provides for a system comprising a carrier frame, an imaging station for obtaining a digital image of the sample document, a first processing station for treating the document and a second processing station for developing the treated document, a second imaging station for obtaining a hyperspectral image of at least one of the document and a region of interest of the document, and a robotic subsystem for transporting the document through the system.

  • Publication number: 20120138820
Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a system and method for detecting, identifying and/or distinguishing between ignitable liquid residues on various types of substrates. A method may comprise generating a fluorescence data set representative of a substrate, which may comprise a fluorescence hyperspectral image. This fluorescence data set may be analyzed to determine the presence and/or identity of an ignitable liquid residue. Regions of a substrate comprising an ignitable liquid residue may further be interrogated using Raman techniques. This may comprise generating and analyzing a Raman data set representative of a region of interest of a substrate to thereby identify an ignitable liquid residue. A system may comprise an illumination source, a tunable filter, and a first detector configured to generate a fluorescence data set. The system may further comprise a second detector configured to generate a Raman data set representative of a region of interest of a substrate.

  • Publication number: 20100265320
Abstract: A system and method for analyzing a forensic sample. A forensic sample is illuminated nondestructively with light of a first wavelength ?1. A first image of the forensic sample is imaged using light emitted at a second wavelength ?2, the second wavelength filtered by a multi-conjugate tunable filter. A second image of the forensic sample is imaged using the light emitted from the sample at a third wavelength ?3, different from ?2, the third wavelength filtered by a multi-conjugate tunable filter. A calculated image of the forensic image is then created from the first image and the second image. The disclosure also provides for obtaining a processed image by applying a chemometric technique to the calculated image and for identifying the sample as a known forensic material by searching a reference database for a match to either the calculated image or the processed image.
