  • Patent number: 11150050
Abstract: An inside waistband holster includes a front panel comprising a waistband connector that holds a top side of the front panel at a waistline of a user's pants. The holster also includes a back panel attached to the front panel, such as along a bottom side of the back panel and the front panel and along lower sides of the back panel and the front panel. The front panel and the back panel define a pouch in which a firearm may in stored, and a top portion of the front panel is unattached to the back panel. The back panel includes a flap configured to extend over the front panel and to releasably connect to the waistband connector in a stored condition. The flap is also configured to be pulled upward such that the top portion of the front panel peels away from the back panel in an exposed position.

  • Publication number: 20210142689
Abstract: A system and process for dynamic security monitoring of test taking. The system combines historical information about the test taker or relevant conditions, and includes sensors which objectively monitor test taker's actions, inactions, and involuntary response to the test given before and during the test, and at a specific test location. The information collected from the sensors is compared to a plurality of predetermined individual risk factors, which indicate a possibility of test fraud by the individual test taker to create a test event risk profile. The individual risk profile is combined with non-individual specific risk factors to create a holistic test event security profile. Security resources are then dynamically assigned to or removed from the test event based on the unique test event security profile.

  • Publication number: 20210074239
Abstract: Examples described herein generally apply color transforms to visual content. A set of color transforms in a graphics pipeline that are requested by a plurality of applications can be determined. At least one of the set of color transforms or an ordering of the set of color transforms can be modified, based on one or more arbitration rules, to generate an arbitrated set of color transforms. The visual content can be generated for display based at least in part on applying the arbitrated set of color transforms in the graphics pipeline.

  • Patent number: 10839735
Abstract: Described are examples for determining an effective color space of a display. A two-dimensional parametric surface that intersects a color volume defined for the display can be defined for at least one color volume vertex. A flat bitmap to which the two-dimensional parametric surface is mapped can be displayed, on the display, for the at least one color volume vertex. A selection of a point on the flat bitmap that corresponds to a perceived maximum color can be received for the at least one color volume vertex. The effective color space of the display can be determined based at least in part on the perceived maximum color selected for the at least one color volume vertex.

  • Publication number: 20200191513
Abstract: Provided are multi-mode firearms, triggers, kits, and methods of use that allow a user to select between a semi-automatic firing mode and a pull-and-release firing mode that fires the firearm upon both pulling the trigger and releasing the trigger, by using the selector switch or other mechanism to change the amount the trigger can move. A safe mode that prevents the firearm from firing may also be selected in various example embodiments by using the selector switch or other mechanism to change the amount the trigger can move. In certain example embodiments the trigger cannot move at all in safe mode, can move more in semi-automatic mode, and can move yet more in pull-and-release mode. The modes can be positioned for selection in any order. Kits comprising a trigger assembly and a selector assembly are provided for retrofitting conventional semi-automatic firearms.

  • Publication number: 20200167394
Abstract: There is provided a method and system to communicate information. The system receives a first query that contains a first constraint and retrieves a first plurality of data items from a database based on the first query. Next, the system generates a first distribution based on the first plurality of data items, the first distribution utilizing a first plurality of domains that are used to identify data items. Next the system generates a second distribution based on a plurality of requests to view a second plurality of data items. Next the system generates a third distribution based on the first distribution and the second distribution. Finally, the system generates distribution data to be included within an interface, the interface to include at least one interface element that is positioned on the interface based on the third distribution, the at least one interface element to respectively represent at least one domain.
