  • Publication number: 20110011860
Abstract: A filler tube assembly is used with a fuel pump nozzle having a pressure sensing port. The filler tube assembly includes a receiver having an inner wall defining an aperture, which receives the pump nozzle. The inner wall defines an orifice and a seal is coupled to the inner wall about the orifice for defining a chamber between the inner wall, the seal, and the fuel pump nozzle when the fuel pump nozzle is disposed in the aperture. A vacuum tube has a coupled end in fluid communication with the orifice and an open end in fluid communication with the fuel tank. The receiver defines a rim for seating the fuel pump nozzle in the aperture to align the pressure sensing port with the orifice. When fuel covers the open end of the vacuum tube, a pressure change is transmitted through the filler tube assembly to the pressure sensing port.

  • Patent number: 7845314
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of disposing of produced water and to a produced water disposal apparatus including a container for receiving and holding produced water; and a burner having a combustion chamber, wherein at least a portion of the combustion chamber is submerged in the water and the submerged portion of the combustion chamber comprises a sparger tube through which combustion gases emerge into, mix with and agitate the water. The present invention further relates to a mechanism for removing debris from the produced water disposal apparatus. In one embodiment, heat is supplied from an externally operated combustion system, rather than the submerged combustion. In one embodiment, the apparatus provides a concentrator, in which a solute can be removed and recovered from an aqueous medium containing the solute.

  • Publication number: 20100023352
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for managing a rental vehicle reservation wherein the need for reservation managers to follow-up with repair facilities to gain additional information about repair work to disabled vehicles can be greatly reduced if not eliminated. Upon receipt of an update from a repair facility as to repair work for a disabled vehicle that pertains to a replacement rental vehicle reservation, an appropriate set of follow-up questions is directed to the repair facility by automated processes without the need for human intervention by the reservation manager. Furthermore, to support flexibility with respect to different informational needs by different purchasers of replacement rental vehicle services, the set of follow-ups questions that is selected and directed to repair facilities can vary based on a number of parameters.
