  • Patent number: 7430442
Abstract: An amplifier device for amplifying RF communication signals compatible with IEEE 802.11 standards. An amplifier circuit is housed within a cylindrical metal housing that provides excellent heat dissipation and requires no mounting hardware for installing the device within a communication system. The metal housing with an integrated lightning arrestor creates a watertight seal to protect the amplifier circuit from damage when installed outdoors and the amplifier circuit is compatible with both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency applications.

  • Patent number: 7158761
Abstract: A bi-directional antenna-mount amplifier particularly suited to be compatible with a broad range of advanced spread spectrum TDD wireless applications relying on either direct sequence or frequency hopping, at a wide range of frequencies, and which allows the radio device sharing of an associated antenna in different time intervals, where signal distortion is minimized due to operation of the amplifier which is governed by an equation and associated gain control circuits to maintain constant output power and prevent transmit signal saturation.

  • Publication number: 20060161886
Abstract: A three-layer property implementation for the purpose of generic-purpose codeless programming is invented. Layer-3 is a property description class for implementing design time features for the user to do codeless programming; layer-2 is a property class for implementing property attributes including how the property value should be retrieved; layer-1 is an object of any data type for implementing property value. Method parameters are implemented in property description class so that codeless programming at design time is possible. Action parameters are implemented in property class so that correct property values can be retrieved. Event arguments are exposed via property description classes so that codeless programming involving event arguments is possible.

  • Publication number: 20040142668
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for transmitting a signal. An exemplary system includes a circuit for a system having a signal source, an antenna, and a cable coupled to the signal source and the antenna. The circuit includes an amplifier having an input for coupling to the cable, and output for coupling to the antenna, and a control input. The amplifier varies output power responsive to a signal on the control input. A detector detects a DC bias on the cable. The detector has an output coupled to the control input of the amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20030037310
Abstract: A visual programming tool and execution environment, based on pre-developed object classes including an action class and an action list class, implemented on a computer having persistent storage, a display screen and one or more input devices which a user employs to command the said programming tool to develop software applications. The said pre-developed object classes which are used by the said programming tool support property-method-event model.
