  • Publication number: 20210342705
Abstract: An electronic device and associated method are used to detect a fault in a spinning mill and to estimate one or more sources of the fault, the spinning mill including a plurality of textile machines that sequentially process textile materials. With the electronic device, the method receives parameter information of one or more of the textile machines and of one or more of the textile materials. The electronic device detects faults and location of the faults by identifying parameter information of the textile materials deviating from reference information. The electronic device is used to access configuration information of the textile machines and knowledge-based information related to possible sources of faults in the spinning mill. The method incudes using the electronic device to apply parameter information, configuration information, and knowledge-based information to one or more machine-learning algorithms to estimate the sources of the faults.

  • Patent number: 8042324
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for winding a roving provided with a protective twist onto a roving bobbin, containing a bobbin mounting for the rotatable mounting of a roving bobbin and a traversing device for traversing in the bobbin axial direction the roving to be wound. The traversing device comprises a driven pair of winding delivery rollers arranged directly in front of the roving bobbin and having a nip line through which the roving to be wound is guided.

  • Publication number: 20090289141
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for winding a roving (15) provided with a protective twist onto a roving bobbin (12), containing a bobbin mounting (19) for the rotatable mounting of a roving bobbin (12) and a traversing device (11) for traversing in the bobbin axial direction (16) the roving (15) to be wound. The invention is distinguished in that the traversing device (11) comprises a driven pair of winding delivery rollers (17, 18) arranged directly in front of the roving bobbin (12) and having a nip line (20) through which the roving (15) to be wound is guided.

  • Patent number: 7451350
Abstract: The present invention provides for a test system having a test executive software system for performing tests on units under test. The test executive software system includes a test kernel component that provides control through a generic interface to the test executive software. Test components, instrument components, support objects and a test system interface component are communicatively coupled to the test kernel component. The instrument components can be written as a dynamically linked library (DLL) file so that the instrument component can be broken into basic functional modules associated with the particular instrument type. Each instrument component supports operation in both live mode and virtual mode, so that testing can be performed in both normal mode and simulation mode. Virtual mode allows instruments to be inserted and removed without impacting test applications that do not utilize them, thereby reducing tester downtime.
