  • Publication number: 20220080250
Abstract: A weight sled that allows both linear and non-linear movements such that resistance training can be performed in the frontal, sagittal, and combined frontal/sagittal planes, and which allows easy movement for transportation, storage, and retrieval from storage. The weight sled uses one or more swiveling, pivoting, or omni-directional wheels that allow all or a portion of the sled to be moved laterally. The addition of wheel configurations allowing of lateral movement of all of, or a portion of, the weight sled greatly expands the utility of weight sleds because movement in any direction can be trained, whether in the sagittal body plane (forward/backward movements), the frontal body plane (lateral movements), or a combination of the two. Additionally, the plurality of wheel configurations allows for a variety of storage arrangements.

  • Publication number: 20220023028
Abstract: A stent for endovascular repair in a subject having an aortic dissection or aneurysm in the ascending aorta and methods of using the same are described herein. The stent comprises an inner covered stent having an inner lumen and one or more fenestrations, and an expandable outer shell coupled to the inner covered stent to form a fluid-tight chamber surrounding the inner covered stent. The one or more fenestrations provide fluid communication between the inner lumen and the fluid-tight chamber. The method of using the stent comprises deploying the endovascular stent in a constricted configuration in which the inner covered stent has a reduced diameter. The method further comprises expanding the outer shell to conform to the shape of the ascending aorta and cover an intimal tear of the aortic dissection, and moving the inner covered stent from the constricted configuration to an expanded configuration having an enlarged diameter.

  • Patent number: 11182091
Abstract: A method of indirection replay for a flash storage system includes writing data, in a host stream, to blocksets of the flash storage system. The host blocksets are assigned a major sequence number incremented from the most recently closed host blockset. The method includes writing an indirection journal to each host blockset which are associated with the assigned major sequence number. The method includes writing data, in a garbage collection (GC) stream, to other blocksets of the flash storage system. The GC blocksets are assigned a major sequence number, based on the most recently closed host blockset, and a minor sequence number, incremented from the most recently closed GC blockset. The method includes writing an indirection journal to each GC blockset which are associated with the assigned major and minor sequence numbers. The indirection table is constructed by replaying the journals of the blocksets in order of major sequence and minor sequence numbers.

  • Publication number: 20210285807
Abstract: A circuit is set up for a container or vessel (10) as shown in FIG. 1, which has a microphone (20), a speaker (30), a frequency control device (40) volume control device (50), an amplifier (60), a frequency reader (70) and a spectrum analyzer (80). The oscillation in the circuit is created by applying power to the amplifier (60) which creates an initial fixed standing wave that does not move. Adjusting or changing components, invokes a new behavior of the circuit which is parasitic in nature and reading of oscillating frequency on the frequency reader (70) determines the change of conditions inside the vessel or container. The method is non-intrusive, and the method of this invention can also be used for measurement of miniscule quantities in microns or micro liters such as that of biofilm or algal growth.
