  • Patent number: 11951254
Abstract: Oscillatory ventilator configured for oscillating at a plurality of specifically tuned sinusoidal frequencies simultaneously a ventilation gas for delivery to a lung region of a patient and a ventilator control system, in communication with the oscillatory ventilator, to control a sinusoidal waveform input for the oscillatory ventilator, wherein the sinusoidal waveform input comprises the plurality of specifically tuned sinusoidal frequencies each of which sinusoidal frequencies are below the acoustic range.

  • Patent number: 11925303
Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus including a body defining an agitation chamber, an agitator partially disposed within the agitation chamber and configured to rotate about a pivot axis, and a debrider at least partially disposed within the agitation chamber. The agitator includes an elongated body having a first and a second end, a sidewall extending radially outward from the elongated body extending between the first and the second ends, and a plurality of bristles extending radially outward from the elongated body. The plurality of bristles are arranged in at least one row adjacent to the sidewall. The debrider includes a plurality of teeth configured to contact a portion of the sidewall as the agitator rotates about the pivot axis.

  • Patent number: 11928632
Abstract: A method of deception detection based upon ocular information of a subject provides a video camera configured to record a close-up view of a subject's eye. A cognitive state model is configured to determine a high to a low cognitive load experienced by the subject. An emotional state model is configured to determine a high to a low state of arousal experienced by the subject. After asking a question, the ocular information is processed to identify changes in ocular signals of the subject. The cognitive state and emotional state models are evaluated based solely on the changes in ocular signals where a probability of the subject being either truthful or deceptive is estimated for a binary output.

  • Publication number: 20160309672
Abstract: The present disclosure sets forth alleles at two genetic loci whose presence reduces the saturated fatty acid content of Brassica seeds. Methods for producing plants containing those alleles, and which produce seeds having low saturated fatty acid content, are also described.

  • Patent number: 8260401
Abstract: Meissner's Corpuscles (MCs) are touch-pressure sensation receptors in glabrous skin. They are imaged by reflectance confocal microscopy to provide a non-invasive, in vivo quantification of their density or size to allow screening for, diagnosis or monitoring of sensory neuropathy and other peripheral nervous system disorders related to diabetes, HIV, or other conditions.

  • Patent number: 7369192
Abstract: An embodiment of a method of making an optical film comprises heating the optical film comprising greater than or equal to 80 wt. % polycarbonate to a sufficient temperature to stretch the optical film, wherein the weight percent is based on a total weight of the optical film; and stretching the optical film. A resulting stretched optical film has a linear CTE measured in a direction parallel to a stretching direction of less than or equal to 50×10?6 cm/cm/° C.
