Abstract: The present disclosure provides, in one aspect, bifunctional compounds that can be used to promote or enhance degradation of an extracellular or cell surface protein. In certain embodiments, the extracellular protein mediates a disease and/or disorder in a subject, and treatment or management of the disease and/or disorder requires degradation, removal, and/or reduction in concentration of the protein in the subject. In some embodiments, the disease and/or disorder is a neurological disease and/or disorder. Thus, in certain embodiments, administration of a compound of the disclosure to the subject removes or reduces the amount of the extracellular or cell surface protein in the brain, thus treating, ameliorating, or preventing the disease and/or disorder.

Abstract: In one embodiment, an eyewear frame for a user includes at least a front portion with two side portions; two speakers, one in each side portion; a connection region at one side portion, with an electrical connector having two conductive pads to connect to corresponding conductive contacts of a counterpart connector; a rechargeable battery; a microphone in the frame; and wireless communication circuitry in the frame. The connection region can be provided at an inside surface of one of the side portions. The eyewear frame can also include a touch-sensitive input surface on the eyewear frame configured to provide an input to the frame to perform a function. Another embodiment includes a headset with an electrical connector having a conductive pad to connect to a corresponding conductive contact of a counterpart connector. Abstract: There is provided a molecule comprising a chain of seven or more contiguous units of 4,6-dideoxy-4-acylamido-?-pyranose each pair of units joined by a C1-C2 or a C1-C3 link, the chain having a terminal end and a reducing end, wherein the pyranose ring in the unit of the chain most distal from the reducing end is linked to a cap structure. The cap structure is not a 4,6-dideoxy-4-acylamido-?-pyranose. There are also provided vaccine compositions comprising the molecule and methods of vaccinating an animal against infection by a Brucella organism, including methods of distinguishing between a vaccinated and an infected animal. There are further provided novel methods of detecting the presence in a sample of an anti-Brucella antibody.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to identify candidates for media asset qualification. Example apparatus disclosed herein include a media creditor to determine whether to credit a first media asset to linear media or non-linear media, the non-linear media including subscription video on demand (SVOD). Disclosed example apparatus also include a media asset candidate controller to: classify the first media asset as a non-candidate for media asset qualification in response to the first media asset being credited to the linear media or the non-linear media. In some examples, the media asset candidate controller is to determine whether to classify the first media asset as a candidate for media asset qualification based on whether the first media asset remains uncredited by the media creditor and the first media asset overlaps a streaming period.

Abstract: Techniques for providing eyewear with electrical components are disclosed. The electrical components can provide electrical technology to eyewear without having to substantially compromise aesthetic design principles of the eyewear. The electrical components can be partially or completely internal to eyewear. The electrical components can also be attached to the eyewear as an after-market enhancement. The electrical components can operate independently or together with other electrical components provided elsewhere. Apparatus for presenting after-market electrical components are also disclosed.

Cluster creation circuitry trains a model by grouping information from multiple streaming sessions into clusters, wherein all streaming sessions within a given cluster have matching media and streaming sources. Model executor circuitry assigns incoming streaming session information to a cluster or to noise. Cluster creation circuitry edits the model by creating new clusters out of information from multiple streaming sessions with similar attributes that were originally labeled as noise. By only crediting streaming session information assigned to a cluster, the disclosed system avoids crediting illogical streaming session information, such as the crediting of media to a streaming source that does not offer said media.
