Abstract: A stylus comprises a first part extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end, the distal end being arranged to provide a tip for engagement with a touch screen device. A second part is moveable relative to the first part to vary a transverse displacement of the second part relative to the first part. A sensor incorporated within the first part and arranged to provide an output signal indicative of the displacement; and electronic circuitry is arranged to provide a signal to the touch screen device based on the sensor output signal.
