  • Publication number: 20210316089
Abstract: A medicament device sensor (Sensor) comprises a body, a front wall, a back wall, an audio sensor, and a plurality of pressure sensors. The body includes a bottom surface on which the various sensors are coupled. The front wall and the back wall provide mirror symmetry in at most one plane, thereby defining a single orientation in which the Sensor attaches to the medicament device. The front wall includes a securement clip that attaches to a ledge on the medicament device. To detect secure attachment of the Sensor to the medicament device, one pressure sensor detects pressure when the Sensor is secured to the medicament device. Another one or more pressure sensors detect depression of one or more dosing buttons confirming priming of the medicament device. The audio sensor detects an inhalation confirming dispensing of medicament. In effect, the Sensor determines a dispensing event has occurred.

  • Patent number: 7577539
Abstract: Apparatus and an accompanying method for calibrating a sensor signal conditioner coupled to a sensor. The signal conditioner sensor enables relatively easy and precise calibration of bridge sensors without the use of a microprocessor. When mated to a resistive bridge sensor, the sensor signal conditioner can digitally calibrate offset and gain, with an option to calibrate offset and gain coefficients and linearity over temperature. A second order compensation can be enabled for temperature coefficients of gain, offset or bridge linearity.

  • Publication number: 20070185673
Abstract: An apparatus and method for calibrating a sensor signal conditioner coupled to a bridge sensor disclosed. The signal conditioner sensor preferably includes a CMOS integrated circuit, which enables relatively easy and precise calibration of resistive bridge sensors via an EEPROM without the use of a microprocessor. When mated to a resistive bridge sensor, the sensor interface can digitally calibrate offset and gain with the option to calibrate offset and gain coefficients and linearity over temperature. A second order compensation can be enabled for temperature coefficients of gain or offset or bridge linearity.
