  • Publication number: 20240084452
Abstract: A tray for a vaporization vessel that includes a tray having a side wall, a bottom plate, one or more apertures that extend through the bottom plate, and a duct that extends through and from the bottom plate. The tray configured to support a solid reagent to be vaporized. A method of assembling the tray that includes forming a first tray that has the side wall and the bottom plate. • Publication number: 20160348809
Abstract: A float assembly securable to an elongate conveyance wherein the elongate conveyance defines a longitudinal axis and the float assembly has a roll axis parallel with the longitudinal axis. The float assembly includes a first buoyant float member coupled with the float assembly. The float assembly also has a configuration wherein buoyancy and gravitational forces acting on the float assembly resist rotation of the float assembly about the roll axis when the float assembly is secured to the elongate conveyance and disposed in a body of water. In some embodiments, the float assembly includes a body defining a buoyant pipe support that includes a central float section and two outer float sections disposed laterally outwardly from the central float section. In some embodiments, ballast is used to provide roll axis stability. In yet other embodiments, the float assembly includes a keel member to enhance roll axis stability.

  • Patent number: 7328565
Abstract: The center sickle overlap arrangement of a sickle type mower for a cutter bar that include a pair of sickles for reciprocating motion where each sickle is essentially half the length of the cutter bar for reduced forces and vibrations for high speed cutting. In the center, the sickle blades overlap at only guard and the blade of one sickle is inverted and co-operates with a top ledger surface of the associated guard so that both the blades are in proper shearing arrangement with the respective guard ledgers. Further the top ledger surface is adjustable to allow clearance adjustment to ensure tight clearance between all sickle cutting surfaces and guard ledgers. Further the arrangement ensures that all crop is cut between sickle sections and guard ledgers rather than between a pair of sections on the opposing sickles.

  • Patent number: 7322175
Abstract: A forage conditioner for conditioning cut crop material from a forage harvester includes a fixed bottom fluted roller carried in end housings and a top fluted roller which is pivotally mounted on the housings by a linkage pivotal relative to the housing about an axis lying in a plane at right angles to the roller axes so that the top roller is liftable from crushing position against the bias of a spring extending along the top roller. Flutes on the rollers are arranged with a first surface on one side which extends substantially radially outwardly to an apex and a second surface which has a first portion parallel to a tangent of the roller and a second portion inclined inwardly to the roller surface at an angle significantly less than 90 degrees. The bottom roller is arranged with the first surfaces leading to carry the crop into the area between the rollers and the top roller is arranged with the first surface trailing.

  • Patent number: 4988031
Abstract: A hand tool is disclosed for installing mallable rivets into a workpiece and for removing such rivets. The hand tool comprises a generally C-shaped body that has a clamp sleeve and a coaxially rivet forming member extending towards a coaxially located punch member. A workpiece is placed between the clamp sleeve and the punch member and the clamp secures the workpiece against the punch member. If a rivet is to be removed, the rivet forming member is retracted and the punch member is advanced to remove a rivet. If a rivet is to be installed, the punch member is partially retracted and the head of the rivet is rested thereon, then the rivet forming member is advanced against an end portion of the rivet extending from the opposite side of the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 3995412
Abstract: A harvesting machine, such as a combine, may be adapted for the harvesting of row crops by attaching a series of laterally spaced-apart, individual row units across the header of the combine. Each unit attachment is of low-profile configuration having a pair of downwardly and forwardly extending, obstruction-free dividing members which become disposed on opposite sides of a crop row during operation, the drive for gathering mechanism on the members being disposed below and to one side of the crop delivery passage defined between each pair of dividing members whereby to render the passage wholly unobstructed from top-to-bottom and front-to-rear thereof to facilitate the orderly, clog-free movement of crops rearwardly through the passage and into the header for further processing.
