  • Patent number: 11980757
Abstract: The spinal cord stimulation device of this invention is configured for implantation into a patient so as to traverse the dura mater that surrounds the spinal cord. Placing the device in this location provides direct contact between the electrode and the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), in close proximity to the spinal cord. The device has an intradural portion and an extradural portion that compresses and seals the dural membrane between them, securing the device in position and preventing leakage of CSF. The position of the device may be stabilized in relation to the spinal cord by way of a laminoplasty plate, bridging between the device and a vertebra. The device is electronically powered by an implanted pulse generator that produces a spectrum of signals to interrupt or otherwise attenuate transmission of pain mediating neural signals through the spinal cord.

  • Publication number: 20240112662
Abstract: Various aspects include a wearable audio device having active noise reduction (ANR). In some cases, a method for processing audio signals includes receiving a noise reduction signal configured to modify an audio signal and generate a noise reduced audio signal, the noise reduction signal having a nominal loop gain; and generating an adjusted noise reduction signal in response to a detected adverse low frequency event, the adjusted noise reduction signal having a modulated loop gain configured to reduce artifacts in the noise reduced audio signal.

  • Patent number: 6360380
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a bath tub having a deep basin without an internal overflow. Instead, an overflow trough encircles the basin and collects water falling over a rim of the basin. A pump directs water within the overflow trough through a conduit back into the basin, so as to continuously maintain water flowing over the rim of the basin. Micro-effervescence and a chromatherapy system can also be provided with such a tub.

  • Patent number: 6296011
Abstract: A three position valve suitable for use in a trigger nozzle assembly is disclosed which is suitable for use in kitchen utensil rinsing areas has a valve housing with a bore, a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. A biased slidable member is positioned in the bore and provides for fluid flow between the fluid inlet and outlet when the valve is in a first position. High flow and stop flow positions are also provided upon compression of the trigger. The valve can be employed in conjunction with a combined spray and aerator head, as well as a hose take-up assembly.

  • Patent number: 6248982
Abstract: A cooking unit has a cooking chamber for water which is heated and drained from a pot by electrical remote controls which are compactly placed on the surface of the unit. In one embodiment, a basin is employed with the cooking unit and affords movement of a cutting board over the basin. Various types of cooking utensils can be employed in conjunction with the cooking chamber and the basin.
