  • Patent number: 10024276
Abstract: An air pre-filter assembly is provided for installation in the OEM air inlet of an internal combustion engine in a vehicle. The pre-filter assembly includes a polyester fiber filter retained in the inlet duct by a spring-clip or a ring. The pre-filter and ring reside completely within the air duct, and requires no additional structure. The pre-filter assembly is located upstream from the primary filter, and can be replaced or removed for cleaning, as needed.

  • Patent number: 5302153
Abstract: An air filtering device for a motor vehicle having a vent for air intake. The air filtering device includes a housing having a plurality of apertures disposed therein, a filter element, and connecting means to removably couple the housing and filter element to a position overlying the vent on the motor vehicle. The housing engages the body of the vehicle, and the filter element is positioned within the housing so that air normally passing into an air intake vent first passes through the apertures located in the housing and is filtered by the filter element. The air filtering device can take a variety of shapes and sizes so that any vent orientation may be adequately fitted and filtered. The air filtering device is easily removable for cleaning and/or replacement of the filter element.

  • Patent number: 4053949
Abstract: A system for use with a plurality of directory assistance or intercept telephone operator positions, in which each position has means for monitoring a plurality of line conductor pairs and includes first and second units for storing data representative of the status of a plurality of telephone numbers. A keyboard is collocated with the operator position for addressing either storage unit with respect to a given telephone number, and an output device, such as a cathode ray tube, is collocated with the operator's position and the addressing means for receiving an output from the storage unit and providing an indication of the status of the telephone number. The operator, or alternatively a number translator, operates between each line pair and the keyboard for providing an input to the addressing means representative of each called telephone number through the corresponding line pair.
