  • Patent number: 7796089
Abstract: An antenna system (100, 500) for a portable communication device (112) is provided. The antenna system is comprised of a retaining structure (204), an antenna flap (206), and a first pivot coupling (212). The retaining structure provides a means for securing the retaining structure to the portable communication device. The antenna flap includes an antenna structure (302). The antenna structure is comprised of an antenna radiating element (600) and/or an antenna impedance matching network (652). The first pivot coupling pivotally connects the antenna flap to the retaining structure. The first pivot coupling is configured to allow the antenna flap to pivot freely on the first pivot coupling responsive to a force of gravity acting on the antenna flap. The retaining structure is configured as a holster in which the portable communication device can be disposed.

  • Patent number: 7195511
Abstract: Cable strain relief device (100) for electronic equipment (400) that can be attached at any position on a cable (200). The device (100) can secure the cable (200) to any fixed point (402). The device can protect the cable connection (404) to the electronic equipment by transferring mechanical load placed on the cable (200) to a strong rigid location (402) on the equipment or any fixed point. It also protects the cable from damage typically associated with conventional clamping techniques.

  • Patent number: 6788777
Abstract: An enhancement to AIN fault handling that allows SSP triggers to access an alternative treatment application when fault handling is invoked. If an alternative treatment application is referenced in the BCM fault handling attribute, then the application is called when AIN fault handling is invoked. If the alternative treatment application is not successful in completing the service function, then one of the traditional fault handling options is applied, (i.e., routing to a specific directory number, voice announcement then terminate call, continue, or final treatment). The present invention allows a last attempt at completing the service function by the alternative treatment application after fault handling is called, but before default handling or final treatment is invoked.

  • Patent number: 6493442
Abstract: An addition to AIN that allows SSP triggers to jump to internal SSP addresses for feature processing without a return. There is no query sent to an SCP nor the associated response message, call processing is not suspended, and there is no need for fault handling associated with the trigger.

  • Patent number: 4826235
Abstract: An expandable bed assembly for a camping trailer is mounted on a pair of extension rails which are slidably mounted on the camping trailer. A first bed frame and mattress are supported by the extension rails, and a second bed frame and mattress are pivotally connected by a pair of parallel links to the first bed frame for pivoting movement between a storage position in which the second bed frame is supported above the first bed frame and a use position in which the second bed frame extends in substantially the same plane as the first bed frame.

  • Patent number: 4682618
Abstract: An attaching assembly for attaching the canvas canopy of a camping trailer to the camping trailer body includes an extruded rail which is mounted on the top of the trailer body. The rail provides a first channel into which the lower edge of the canvas can be inserted and a second channel in which a latch is pivotally mounted. The bottom edge of the canvas is folded around a vinyl seal and secured thereto to provide the canvas with an enlarged hem, and when the hem of the canvas is inserted into the first channel of the rail, the latch can be pivoted to a latching position to prevent withdrawal of the hem from the rail.

  • Patent number: 4534601
Abstract: A movable galley for camping trailers and the like includes a pair of cabinets, one of the cabinets being movable between a use position in which it is supported by the other cabinet and a storage position in which it is positioned along side the other cabinet. The support assembly supports the first cabinet as it moves and maintains the cabinet in an upright position. The support assembly includes a pair of sprockets which are non-rotatably mounted on the two cabinets, a link which extends between the sprockets and is rotatably connected thereto, and a chain which extends around the sprockets.

  • Patent number: 4515394
Abstract: A wheel lock and stand assembly for a trailer in which a swivel wheel lock locks the wheel against swiveling when the stand supports the trailer and unlocks the wheel when the stand is raised. A locking arm which is engageable with the swivel mechanism is mounted on a rotatable shaft, and a crank arm on the shaft is connected to the stand by a link. As the stand is lowered and raised, the link and the crank rotate the shaft to bring the locking arm into and out of engagement with the swivel mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4484759
Abstract: A hitch assembly for a single wheel trailer includes an elongated hitch bar which is adapted to be mounted on a trailer hitch of a vehicle for towing the trailer. The hitch bar extends parallel to the rear bumper of the vehicle, and a pair of angles are adjustably mounted on the bar for vertical movement for engaging the bottom of the bumper. A pair of bumper pads are adjustably mounted on the bar for fore-and-aft movement for engaging the rear end of the bumper. A pair of latch assemblies on the bar releasably connect a pair of attaching tongues on the trailer to the bar. Each latch assembly includes a hook for engaging a pin on one of the tongues, and the vertical position of the pin is adjustable.
