  • Patent number: 9532847
Abstract: A package system for a medical device is disclosed. The package system may include a first part and a second part, where a holding platform can be incorporated into the first part of the package system and a collection tray can be incorporated into the second part of the package system. The first part may include leg portions. The leg portions of the first part can be folded and fitted into matching pockets of the second part, so that the first part of the package system can provided a relatively elevated and stable holding platform to hold the medical device. The package system can contain the medical device in the package system in a storage state, and hold the medical device with the holding platform in an application state.

  • Patent number: 6276392
Abstract: A pressure regulator is provided that can produce a relatively constant outlet pressure over a range of flow rates. A spring backed diaphragm reacts against the inlet pressure to produce this desired outlet pressure. To provide a range of outlet pressures with a variety of inlet pressures, a spring may be selected from a set of springs having different strength characteristics. The regulator includes a housing with the liquid inlet being located at 90° with respect to the liquid outlet and with a dry chamber on the back side of the diaphragm in which the spring is positioned. Thus, it is easy to remove a cap enclosing the dry chamber and position the desired spring within that chamber. For handling even higher output pressures, a pair of springs may be concentrically positioned in the dry chamber of the housing to react against the inlet pressure.

  • Patent number: 5469738
Abstract: A wind speed indicator includes a series of spaced individual indicia provided on a member which is rotatable in response to movement of air caused by the wind. The indicia may take the form of individual dots spaced equally about the circumference of a circle centered on the axis of rotation of the rotatable member so that, when the rotatable member is rotated, the dots cooperate to define a virtual ring when rotated above a predetermined angular velocity in response to a predetermined threshold wind speed. Additional series of individual indicia, such as dots, are formed about succeeding smaller concentric circles and are spaced farther apart. As wind speed increases, additional virtual rings are apparent to indicate when wind speed has exceeded additional predetermined thresholds. The indicia can either be provided on an impeller which is directly rotated by the wind, or on a rotatable member which is rotatably driven in response to rotation of a separate impeller rotatably driven by the wind.

  • Patent number: 4620441
Abstract: A liquid level control responsive to the level of liquid in a vessel having visual verification of fluid level including a tubular body for attachment to an opening in a vessel, the body having aligned openings in opposite sides receiving a pivot shaft, a control box mounted on one side and receiving an extension of the pivot shaft, an arm having one end attached to the pivot shaft and extending out the end of the body into the vessel and having a float on the end which is responsive to the level of liquid within the vessel, a control system within the box actuated by rotation of the pivot arm, and a transparent sight glass sealably closing the end of the tubular body so that the operator can observe the liquid level in the vessel through the sight glass.
