  • Patent number: 11719345
Abstract: An example method includes moving a first portion of a control element and a second portion of the control element coupled to the first portion from a closed position to an intermediate position. In the closed position, the first portion being seated against a first valve seat thereby preventing flow through a first orifice and the second portion being seated against a second valve seat thereby preventing flow through a second orifice. In the intermediate position, flow through the first orifice is deterred and flow through the second orifice is permitted. The method includes moving the first portion and the second portion from the intermediate position to an open position. In the open position, the first portion being spaced from the first valve seat thereby permitting flow through the first orifice and the second portion being spaced from the second valve seat thereby permitting flow through the second orifice.

  • Patent number: 5199774
Abstract: A cabinet assembly having a plurality of vertical rows of drawers. A combination lock and interlock system is provided wherein a cable having a predetermined slack is positioned adjacent the plurality of drawers and interacts with a catch that is positioned on each drawer. Upon opening of a drawer, the catch moves the cable from a slack position which permits a drawer to be opened to a taut position which prevents the opening of a second drawer. One end of the cable is attached to a remote locking device which selectively pulls the cable taut and releases it to a slack position to allow remote locking and unlocking of all drawers while in their closed positions.

  • Patent number: 4559410
Abstract: A partition member of a space-divider wall system having an accessible panel compartment for mounting a plurality of junction boxes and organizing data cable terminal end connections. A displaceably mounted front wall provides user access to the compartment. A plurality of support plate members are cooperatively releasably mounted on an interior compartment wall. An electrical junction box provides connections of building service to the panel system electrical components. A plurality of communication junction boxes are adhesively attached to one of the support plate members, and data cable terminal ends connected together are releasably retained on another of the support plate members by connector clips. Cables connecting to the junction boxes and the data cables extend to the panel compartment through a raceway positioned along a bottom edge of the partition member.

  • Patent number: 4535703
Abstract: A wire or line manager is adapted to be attached to the edge of a work surface and to extend between the work surface and a wall to provide neat and aesthetic management of numerous electrical lines, data and signal cables and plugs associated with various electrical and communications apparatuses. The manager comprises a flange support connectable to the work surface edge and has a rigid lower flange and a flexible upper flange extending outwardly therefrom and toward the wall. Electrical lines, data and signal cables and plugs may then be easily and neatly passed between the flexible upper flange and the wall and run laterally along the lower flange between the work surface and wall. A plurality of openings are provided in the lower flange so that any one or more lines may be selectively received through an opening or openings to be run generally vertically downwardly to selected areas.
