Patent number: 9207263Abstract: A test and measurement instrument includes an input terminal to receive a signal, acquisition circuitry to capture a plurality of triggered acquisitions, trigger circuitry to cause a trigger event responsive to trigger criteria, and a controller to dynamically reconfigure the trigger criteria between triggered acquisitions. The controller is configured to dynamically reconfigure the trigger criteria from the first set of trigger criteria to subsequent sets of trigger criteria between each of the triggered acquisitions. A method is disclosed for scanning information associated with an initial triggered acquisition and, depending on the nature of the scanned information, dynamically adjusting the next or any subsequent set of trigger criteria.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 2010Date of Patent: December 8, 2015Assignee: Tektronix, Inc.Inventor: David L. Patent number: 9075696Abstract: A test and measurement apparatus, system, and method for synchronizing an acquisition or triggering system to a specific burst of interest. The subject apparatus and method triggers on varying energy content of a signal qualified by time in the presence of high-frequency input signal bursts, by using an adjustable pulse width envelope detector, disposed in the signal path of the trigger circuitry, as a digital rectifier or to otherwise process and extract an envelope signal. An RF envelope probe having an analog envelope detector among other suitable components is disclosed. A method is implemented for isolating an interval of interest in a signal under test. An envelope detector circuit produces an envelope signal from the signal. Trigger circuitry receives the envelope signal from the envelope detector, and isolates the interval of interesting in the signal under test using the envelope signal.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 2010Date of Patent: July 7, 2015Assignee: TEKTRONIX, INC.Inventors: Patrick A. Publication number: 20150029330Abstract: In a control unit of an electronic component mounting apparatus, when an imaging form of a component imaging unit is set to a first mode, a component recognition unit recognizes a first electronic component based on an imaged image due to a first imaging element of the component imaging unit, and recognizes a second electronic component based on an imaged image due to a second imaging element of the component imaging unit. Meanwhile, when the imaging form is set to a second mode, the component recognition unit recognizes the electronic components based on an image in which the imaged image by the first imaging element is combined with the imaged image by the second imaging element.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 25, 2013Publication date: January 29, 2015Applicant: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Eiichi Hachiya, Toshiki Abe, Junichi Hada, James K. Publication number: 20130051728Abstract: In part, the invention relates to an optical probe including a torque wire; an optical fiber positioned within the torque wire; a beam director positioned coaxial with and adjacent to one end of the optical fiber; and an overcladding, positioned adjacent to and over the optical fiber and the beam director, the overcladding defining an air gap adjacent the beam director so as to cause total internal reflection alight passing from the optical fiber through the beam director. In one embodiment, the optical probe includes a beam expander and a beam shaper coaxial with and located between the optical fiber and the beam director. In another embodiment, the optical probe further includes a marker band positioned over a portion of the overcladding. In yet another embodiment, the overcladding is made of flurosilica glass.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2011Publication date: February 28, 2013Applicant: LightLab Imaging, Inc.Inventors: Christopher Petroff, David L. Patent number: 8291649Abstract: A lifting mechanism for a concrete structure is provided through means of a void former and anchor assembly which it cast in place to provide an accurate recess in the structure having two or more spaced divergent anchors therein. The anchors define annularly aligned apertures within the recess. A lifting shackle of an arcuate configuration complimental with that of the recess is received within the recess and carries an arcuate locking bolt extendable through the aligned apertures.Type: GrantFiled: November 8, 2010Date of Patent: October 23, 2012Assignee: Meadow Burke, LLCInventor: David L. Patent number: 8028490Abstract: A polymeric chair having a rebar cradle and legs of a T-shaped or U-shaped cross-section diverging downwardly from the cradle. The outer surface portions of the legs define segments of a cone. Inwardly extending web portions reinforce the legs. Feet at the distal ends of the legs are disposed to the inside of the outer surface portions. A flat sand plate for the chair has radially extending slots formed therethrough which are proportioned for snug engagement with side surfaces of the feet. The slots are elongate to accommodate different sized chairs having feet spaced at varying radial dimensions. The web portions taper to optimize their reinforcing function and conserve material. In one embodiment, a ring is formed integrally with the legs intermediate the table and the distal ends of the legs. The chair is of a unitary construction and may have an integrally formed strap for extension over the cradle to secure a rebar in place.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2008Date of Patent: October 4, 2011Assignee: MMI Products, Inc.Inventors: David L. Kelly, Stephen L. Miller, Richard L. Miller

Patent number: 7652598Abstract: A method for improving performance and flexibility of serial data analysis in test instruments, is independent of data bit rate, encoding scheme or communication protocol embodied in the serial data. The serial data is input to a transmitter section, where it is demultiplexed into a plurality of multi-bit lanes, such as n bits for each of N lanes. The N lanes are then encoded into characters, the encoded N lanes having m bits per lane where m>n. Bit stuffing is used to adjust the data rate and/or to insert qualifiers. The stuffed, encoded N lanes are then multiplexed into N serial lanes, which are output from the transmitter section for input to a receiver section at a data rate that is optimal for the receiver section. In the receiver section the N lanes are deserialized, decoded and input to a word recognizer to generate a trigger event signal.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2007Date of Patent: January 26, 2010Assignee: Tektronix, Inc.Inventors: Shane A.
