Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for the collection and aggregation of genomic, medical, and other data of interest for individuals and populations that may be of interest for analysis, research, pharmaceutical development, medical treatment, and so forth. Contributors become members of a community upon creation of an account and providing of data or files. The data is received and processed, such as to analyze, structure, perform quality control, and curate the data. Value or shares in one or more community databases are computed and attributed to each contributing member. The data is controlled to avoid identification or personalization. Third parties interested in the database information may contribute value (e.g., pay) for access and use. Value flows back to the members and to a system administrative entity.

  • Patent number: 11757343
Abstract: An apparatus includes a soft start manager such as implemented via hardware, software, or a combination of hardware and software. The soft start manager receives input parameter from a power supply; the input parameter (such as output voltage, duty cycle, input voltage, etc.) is associated with conversion of the input voltage into an output voltage that powers a load. The soft start manager monitors a magnitude of the input parameter. Based at least in part on the magnitude of the input parameter, the soft start manager controls a switching period applied to switch circuitry in the power supply.

  • Patent number: 11733142
Abstract: An optimized testing method is used to determine minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of a particular antimicrobic for use with a particular microbe. The testing method includes iteratively imaging the microbes mixed with various concentrations of the antimicrobic. The images are thereafter processed to determine one or more of the amount/count of the microbes in each image, the total area occupied by the microbes in each image, and the ratio between the area occupied by the microbes and the count of the microbes. Once a sufficient amount of data is collected, the MIC is determined based on one or more of the count, area, and ratio datasets.

  • Patent number: 11662479
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computing system may access design data of a printed circuit board to be produced by a manufacturing process. The system may determine one or more corrections for the design data of the printed circuit board based on one or more correction rules for correcting one or more parameters associated with the printed circuit board. The system may automatically adjust one or more of the parameters associated with the design data of the printed circuit board based on the one or more corrections. The adjusted parameters may be associated with an impedance of the printed circuit board. The one or more corrections may cause the impendence of the printed circuit board to be independent from layer thickness variations of the printed circuit board to be produced by the manufacturing process.
