  • Patent number: 12000228
Abstract: A casing removal system includes a flow diversion valve. The flow diversion valve includes a flow switch that engages an upper end of an inner casing. When the flow switch engages the upper end of the inner casing, the flow diversion valve opens and at least a portion of the fluid flow through the casing removal system exhausts to the annulus. The remaining fluid flow below the flow diversion valve is insufficient to operate a mud motor that drives a casing cutter. In other embodiments, when the flow switch is not engaged with the inner wall of casing, the flow diversion valve prevents fluid flow to components that are downhole of the valve and when the flow switch is engaged with the inner wall of casing, the flow diversion valve allows for fluid flow to components that are downhole of the valve.

  • Patent number: 12002164
Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for authoring and presenting 3D presentations. Generally, an augmented or virtual reality device for each author, presenter and audience member includes 3D presentation software. During authoring mode, one or more authors can use 3D and/or 2D interfaces to generate a 3D presentation that choreographs behaviors of 3D assets into scenes and beats. During presentation mode, the 3D presentation is loaded in each user device, and 3D images of the 3D assets and corresponding asset behaviors are rendered among the user devices in a coordinated manner. As such, one or more presenters can navigate the scenes and beats of the 3D presentation to deliver the 3D presentation to one or more audience members wearing augmented reality headsets.

  • Patent number: 11945552
Abstract: A boat, having a transom, includes one or more aft-facing seats. Each aft-facing seat is positioned proximate to the transom and includes a seat bottom that is inclined at a downward angle in a direction extending from aft to fore, a seatback, a headrest, a seat support structure having at least one hidden compartment therein, and at least one pivot mechanism attached to the seatback and the headrest and configured to allow the seatback to move between a first position in which the seatback is capable of supporting the back of a person seated in the seat and a second position in which the seatback is pivoted upwardly to allow access to the compartment and the headrest to move between an upright position and a folded position. A plurality of handles may be provided for each aft-facing seat, with one at an outboard side and another at an inboard side.

  • Patent number: 5439475
Abstract: A cosmetic procedure for hair transplantation is carried out with an apparatus (50) comprising a magazine (52) with a plurality of compartments (53) each containing a sample of de-epithelialized tissue having at least one hair shaft attached to a hair bulb. The magazine (52) is loaded in an apparatus (50) having a tapered hollow lumen (57) aligned with a pusher rod (56). With the hollow lumen (57) penetrating a recipient graft site to a predetermined depth and the pusher rod (56), the hollow lumen (57) and a compartment (53) in axial alignment, pusher rod (56) moves through compartment (53) and into the hollow lumen (57) to deposit a portion of donor tissue in the recipient graft site.

  • Patent number: 4624043
Abstract: A releasable tool holder (75) for quickly interchanging tools usable by a conventional robot (50) having one or more articulatable arms (60, 65, 70). The tool holder (75) is mounted to an arm (70) of the robot (50) and is provided with a plurality of variable fulcrum clamping levers (110) capable of engaging a surface (215) of a ring (205) mounting a preselected tool. A fluid motor (95) is connected to a translatable center link (105) that is pivotably attached to the variable fulcrum clamping levers (110) whereby when the motor (95) causes the link (105) to translate, the variable fulcrum clamping levers (110) engage the surface (215) of the tool mounting ring (205). A novel tool mounting ring (205) and a releasable fluid coupling (125) are also provided.
