Abstract: There is described a winch lock assembly which serves to cinch a sack and its contents closed, thereby locking said contents inside said sack, and at the same time, containing the cinch cord within the winch lock assembly. The winch lock includes a crank assembly, to hand-wind the cinch cord on a shaft inside said winch lock body. When said cinch cord is adequately wound up in order to close the cinch sack, additional force may be applied to said cord with the thumb and index finger of the hand, without said cord unwinding between said torque strokes, due to the clutch-breaking effect of the wound-up cord inside said winch lock body. The crank handle is pivotally mounted on a crank assembly, so as to be folded into crank assembly, thereby locking the crank assembly to said winch lock body.This is accomplished by a locking surface on the crank handle that moves into slots cut into the winch lock body when said handle is folded into the crank assembly.

Abstract: There is disclosed a chamber indicator apparatus for a conventional revolver. The chamber indicator apparatus employs an aperture in the recoil plate which aperture abuts against the back end of the cylinder and allows one to view a given area of the cylinder via the aperture. The viewed cylinder area has emplaced thereon indicia indicative of the chamber which is aligned with the barrel of the gun. In this manner, the user can view the indicia via the aperture and hence identify the chamber accommodating the cartridge that is to be fired. Accordingly, the user now has the knowledge of the number of shots fired as well as the chamber being used at all times during the firing of a weapon.

Abstract: A hammer of a typical firearm is cocked at a point about a threshold of equilibrium so that the hammer may or may not move forward when the trigger mechanism is activated; means associated with the trigger mechanism imparts an additional force to the hammer to assure that the hammer will move toward the firing pin upon activation of the trigger.The invention has utility in all firearms employing a hammer and trigger mechanism, but has particularly utility in regard to automatic or semi-automatic weapons.
