  • Publication number: 20240111263
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for optimization and autoconfiguration of edge processing devices are disclosed. A cloud computing system can receive a request to configure a target building device. The cloud computing system can identify, based on the target building device, a connector template for the target building device. The connector template can include one or more parameters for a connector component configured to cause the target building device to communicate with the cloud computing system. cloud computing system can generate the connector component for the target building device based on the one or more parameters. cloud computing system can deploy the connector component to the target building device.

  • Publication number: 20240107113
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that provide video content (e.g., a TV show, a recorded sporting event, a movie, a 3D video, etc.) within a 3D environment using parameters selected based on one or more contextual factors. Such contextual factors may be determined based on an attribute of the content (e.g., its intended purpose or viewing environment), the user (e.g., the user's visual quality, interpupillary distance, etc.), the 3D environment (e.g., current lighting conditions, spatial considerations, etc.), or other context attributes.

  • Publication number: 20090018718
Abstract: An operational life of an electric mining shovel is determined by monitoring cumulative dipper loading, both above and below a benchmark weight set by a manufacturer over a time period, such as an operating shift. The running shovel life score is increased when a dipper payload is less than the benchmark weight and increased when the dipper payload is greater than the benchmark weight. The shovel life may be tracked over a time period such as an operator's shift or a thirty day period. The shovel life is used by the operator to operate the shovel in a manner consistent with the manufacturer's ratings.

  • Patent number: 4686873
Abstract: An adjustable casing tong apparatus with a pivoting arm for disconnecting sections of drill string pipe in a drilling apparatus so that the casing tong can match the angle of the drill pipe used during angle drilling. A support column is connected to the deck of the drilling apparatus and an arm member is supported by the support column for movement in a direction along the longitudinal axis of the support column and is also rotatably connected to the column. A wrist member is pivotally and rotatably connected to the arm member and adjustable therewith by a pin indexing arrangement. A bracket hand is also pivotally connected to the wrist member. By suitable longitudinal adjustment of the arm member on the support column as well as the pin indexing arrangement between the wrist member and the arm member as well as rotation of the wrist member, the casing tong can suitably match the angle of the drill pipe used when angle hole as well as vertical drilling on a blast hole drill.

  • Patent number: 4605257
Abstract: A basic operator's cab can be expanded after assembly to provide a widening thereof as well as an expansion in length or both a widening and length expansion. The operator's cab is generally of a rectangular configuration and is fabricated with a diagonal separation line. The two basic sections are connected by nuts and bolts to allow disassembly and movement thereafter. Depending upon customer preference, these two basic sections can be expanded by placing insert members between the two sections which insert members will afford a widening or a lengthening or a combination of both. The insert members can be secured to the two basic sections by use of removable fasteners such as nuts and bolts which also connect the cab sections. The three-way expansion and insert feature for the operator's cab can be utilized for any type of modular unit which is to be expanded and is most particularly suited for large equipment such as blast hole drills.
