Abstract: Furniture anti-tipping mechanism integrated into a piece of furniture includes a bracket attachable to a vertical support, a substantially planar wall section situated in the furniture and having front and rear surfaces defining a thickness therebetween constituting a rear wall of the furniture, and attachment structure to connect the bracket to the wall section. The attachment structure may include at least one projection projecting from the bracket, at least one corresponding dimensioned aperture in the wall section, and at least one connector engageable onto a respective projection to enable the wall section to be tightened against the bracket.

Abstract: Eye shield including a curved body having a size to cover a person's eye. The body has a concave side configured to face the eye and an opposite convex side. The body has a circumferential edge and openings in a central region. The body includes a spaced apart pair of notches each extending inward from the circumferential edge but not communicating with the openings. Each notch defines an opening between opposed surfaces. A piece of adhesive tape wider than a distance between the notches passes through both notches alongside the concave side of the body between the notches and over the convex side of the body laterally outside of the notches. Another body has a central region made of an optically clear material and a peripheral region surrounding the central region made from a resilient flexible material and which defines the circumferential edge of the body.

A bottom front region of a lower section is more forward from a central vertical plane of the frame than a top front region of an upper section, and the lower section can have a greater front to back distance than the upper section. When the frame is in contact with a horizontal surface and the drawer is open, tipping of the frame from its position on the horizontal surface as a result of downward pressure exerted on the drawer is reduced by the lower section of the frame having the greater front to back distance than the upper section.

Abstract: Mechanism for preventing a piece of furniture from tipping over includes an L-shaped boot having a first elongate planar portion and a second planar portion shorter than the first planar portion. The second planar portion is attachable by structure to a rear surface of a rear leg of the furniture to be alongside and in contact with the rear leg. The first planar portion is dimensioned to extend under the rear leg and under a front leg of the furniture aligning with said rear leg and beyond the front leg when said second planar portion is attached to said rear surface of said rear leg to aid in preventing tipping of the furniture when a force is applied in a forward direction of the furniture. The first planar portion may be configured to extend below right and left legs of the furniture.

Each slot is defined by a pair of opposed walls, possibly parallel to one another. The opposed walls of each slot are spaced apart a distance to enable a bag, when inserted through the slot(s), to be pinched by the opposed walls.

Abstract: Movement limiting system for a walker that limits movement of the walker includes an elongate, adjustable length armature having first and second opposite end regions and a coupler that couples the first end region of the armature to the walker. When the second end region of the armature is coupled to an object, the walker is limited in its movement relative to the object by the armature. The second end region of the armature includes attachment structure that couples the armature to the object. The armature preferably includes multiple sections that telescope relative to one another to provide the armature with its adjustable length.

Abstract: Learn-to-walk system includes a walker having a toddler retainer for retaining a toddler and a substrate support for supporting the toddler retainer on a substrate. The substrate support includes caster assemblies that enable the substrate support to move on the substrate. The toddler retainer rotates relative to the substrate support such that while the substrate support remains in a stationary position, the toddler retainer is rotatable. An elongate armature has a first end region coupled to the toddler retainer or substrate support in a manner to allow swiveling thereof relative to the armature such that the walker is movable into different positions relative to the armature. A second end region of the armature is coupled to an object, so that the substrate support is limited in its movement relative to the object by the armature. The toddler retainer may also be configured to secure to walking wings.

The closure component is pivotable relative to the support via engagement of the extension portion with the attachment structure.

The slots are spaced apart from one another to enable a solid portion of the wall therebetween to temporarily flex outward, which aids in engagement and disengagement of the ring to a projection on the support, with a bag being sandwiched between the ring and projection and thereby secured to the support. Tabs may extend upward from the upper wall to aid in handling of the ring.
