  • Patent number: 8800403
Abstract: A boat lift drive housing for containing a control box, electric motor and gear head for raising and lowering a boat lift. The housing includes front and rear coaxial openings for access to the gear head. The housing further includes an eyebrow cantilevered over an opening in the housing through which a key switch extends such that the key switch is protected from the sun, rain, snow and ice. The housing further includes a pair of bottom openings, with one bottom housing permitting access to a drive shaft of the electric motor and with the other bottom opening holding a tool for driving the drive shaft of the electric motor. The housing further includes a shape tailored to the control box, electric motor and gear head to minimize extra connections within the housing.

  • Patent number: 8070378
Abstract: A channeled track connector having a base and a slider. The slider slides into an key opening in the base. The base includes a first foot for engaging the channeled track. The slider includes a second foot for engaging the channeled track. Each piece standing alone is not engagable to the channeled track. However, when slid together, the base and slider as a whole stands together as one-piece, remains fixed to the channeled track, and serves as a mount for a predefined object.

  • Patent number: 7992512
Abstract: An interface between the gunwale or other surface of a boat and a tool such as a electronic device such as a fish finder. The interface is tucked under the mount of the electronic device and includes an opening running radially from the interior of the interface to and beyond an outer diametrical portion of the mount such that a power cord and/or other electrical connections can run from a power source in an inner portion of the boat, then to a central portion of the interface, then to the portion of the interface disposed beyond the outer diametrical portion of the mount, and then to the electrical device.

  • Patent number: 7784767
Abstract: A boat lift drive for connection to a winch having a winch shaft. The boat lift drive includes a power unit, a drive train engaged to and being driven by the power unit, and a drive shaft engaged to and being driven by the drive train. The drive shaft in turn is engaged to and drives the winch shaft. The drive shaft includes an interior threaded opening that engages a threaded end of the winch shaft to directly connect the drive shaft to the winch shaft. The drive shaft is further engaged to the winch shaft via a pin that extends through the drive shaft and is threaded into the winch shaft.
