  • Publication number: 20240166015
Abstract: A system for electrically heating glass configured for installation on a vehicle. The system includes: a transparent metallic layer configured to be mounted to the glass, conduct electrical current, and increase in temperature to heat the glass in response to electrical current running across the transparent metallic layer; a glass temperature sensor configured to sense a glass temperature of the glass; a humidity sensor configured to sense humidity of at least one of cabin humidity inside the vehicle and exterior humidity outside of the vehicle; a cabin temperature sensor configured to sense cabin temperature of the vehicle; an exterior temperature sensor configured to sense exterior temperature outside of the vehicle; and a control module.

  • Publication number: 20220117700
Abstract: An orthodontic archwire is configured to treat a number of malocclusions. The archwire has a straight anterior section between a first posterior section and a second posterior section. The first posterior section and the second posterior section each have multiple radii of curvature and are mirror images of each other.

  • Patent number: 10837778
Abstract: A method for operating a fiber optic gyroscope to measure angular velocity uses a closed-loop modulation scheme. Two-state modulation voltages are applied to an optical modulator and continuously adjusted to maintain a null difference between corresponding demodulated voltages from a photodetector. If one of the modulation voltages reaches a threshold voltage, the continuous nulling adjustment is interrupted briefly while the two-state modulation voltages are reset to values that correspond to relative phases of ?/2 and ??/2 when the gyroscope is stationary, then the continuous adjustment is resumed. This reoccurring resetting, while the gyroscope accelerates or decelerates, substantially increases the dynamic range over which the gyroscope can precisely measure angular velocity.

  • Patent number: 6878032
Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses an insular wrap 20 for game calls 16 comprising a pair of flexible layers 32, 34 having a pocket 30 therein to contain a heat producing element 26. The wrap 20 encompasses the barrel or flute portion 18 which contains the sound producing assembly of the game call 16 without influencing the sound and secures in a wrap fashion about the call by means of mating hook and loop fasteners 22. The wrap 20 of the present invention 10 heats and insulates sufficient surface area to temporarily insulate the portion of the game call 16 housing the sound production assembly sufficient to adequately hinder cold and moisture induced malfunctioning of the reed, diaphragm or other like vibratory elements of the game call 16.
