  • Publication number: 20240148577
Abstract: A medical bed frame may include a base frame, a pair of side members selectively movable laterally towards or away from the base frame, a first and second drive assembly each comprising: a first and second pair of cams configured to move the pair of side members, and a central linkage for rotating the first and second pair of cams, a first actuator operatively connected to the central linkage of the first drive assembly and the base frame, and a second actuator operatively connected to the central linkage of the second drive assembly and the base frame, wherein the first and second actuator are configured to selectively move the central linkage in one of a first direction and a second direction, whereby selective movement of the first actuator and the second actuator results in lateral movement of the pair of side members towards or away from the base frame.

  • Patent number: 11972237
Abstract: Improved compilers recognize interception declarations in source code, and emit code that replaces invocations of specified artifacts with invocations of specified interceptors instead. Source generators proactively modify program behavior in arbitrary desired ways without introducing hidden security violations and without requiring edits by the program's developers. Interception declarations are visible in source code and development tools. In some cases, different invocations of a particular method at respective locations are intercepted by different replacement methods. Replacement methods have identical signatures, or are otherwise compatible. Some interceptors specify optional parameters. Method calls, field accesses, and property calls may be intercepted. Work to modify program behavior is moved in the program lifecycle from runtime to compile time, thus improving runtime performance and eliminating JIT compilation security risks.

  • Patent number: 11958376
Abstract: The present invention describes a method using temperature data to protect battery health during bidirectional charging in conjunction with monetization activities. The method includes receiving temperature data and determining anticipated energy needs of a building. The temperature data includes at least the temperature of one or more electric vehicle batteries or information required to determine the temperature of the one or more electric vehicle batteries while the anticipated energy needs are relative to ambient air temperature. The method includes determining an amount of discharge of the one or more electric vehicle batteries required to offset the anticipated needs of the building by a predetermined amount and determining based on the temperature data whether discharging the one or more electric vehicle batteries would be harmful to the health of the one or more electric vehicle batteries.

  • Publication number: 20240075939
Abstract: Raw sensor data from a device of a user is collected. The raw data does not include location data for the device. The data is preprocessed to identify driving trips in which the user had the device. The trip data is provided to machine-learning models (MLMs) as input and the MLMs provide as output predictions for each trip's estimated speeds, estimated number of hard brakes and a degree of each hard brake, and estimated degrees of distracted driving. A duration, time of day, and calendar date of each trip is identified. The predictions, duration, time of day, and calendar date are modified into four factor values. The four modified factor values are combined into an overall driver characteristic value and provided to a network service associated with the user for purposes of providing or modifying services provided to the user through the network service based on the overall characteristic value.

  • Publication number: 20230351401
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media are provided for rules execution testing using live production data. Live production authorization requests may be received at a production computing device. Production authorization decisions may be determined at the production computing device for the live production authorization requests using a set of production rules. The production authorization requests, data used to arrive at the corresponding production authorization decisions, and/or the corresponding authorization decisions may be streamed in real-time to a test device. Test authorization decisions may be determined at the test device for the received live production authorization requests using the received data used to arrive at the production authorization decisions, and using a set of test rules. Production and test authorization decisions may be compared to determine decision differences. One or more user interfaces or reports may be generated for outputting the decision differences.
