  • Publication number: 20110121518
Abstract: A SIC mechanical seal including a main body made of SIC materials. The main body includes a fixing portion and a pushed surface. The seal also includes a retainer including a shaft coupling seat, a push ring and an elastic part; of which the push ring is made of SIC material, and provided with a ring surface that's riveted to the pushed surface of the main body. The seal also includes at least an area of lower friction, set globally or locally onto either the pushed surface of the main body or the ring surface of the push ring. The friction of this area is less than that of the main body and the push ring. The area of lower friction is of a composite layer which is made of a mixture of SIC and carbon materials, or composed of multiple dents arranged at interval.

  • Publication number: 20110018510
Abstract: A linear voltage regulator includes a Miller frequency compensation having a movable zero, which tracks the frequency of the load pole as the load condition changes. The compensated voltage regulator maintains stability under variable load conditions. Because of the Miller effect, DC open-loop gain and bandwidth are not sacrificed for stability. The compensated voltage regulator can therefore maintain high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR).

  • Patent number: 6799719
Abstract: A business card reader includes a scanning module, a USB detecting/switching unit and two USB ports. The business card reader is connected to at least one of a personal computer and a PDA through the two USB ports, respectively. The USB detecting/switching unit controls the data transmission path among the scanning module, the personal computer and the PDA. The business card reader has a socket electrically connected to an external power source for charging a PDA connected to one USB port.
