  • Publication number: 20220301225
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for calibrating camera and measuring offsets for reducing distortions on images. The calibrating includes aligning an on-board image sensor and a lens barrel using a kinematic mount and affixing the onboard image sensor and the lens barrel to assemble a camera. The kinematic mount provides a predetermined number of degrees of freedom in aligning the on-board image sensor and the lens barrel. A device embeds the camera. The measuring includes receiving the camera in the kinematic mount and measuring an opposing pair of offset values as measured optical centers from the lens optical axis to the image sensor pointing reference at yaw orientations of the camera at 0 degree and 180 degrees. The method determines a total offset value by taking an average of the pair and canceling the rotationally symmetrical error. The method uses the offset value for reducing distortions on images by de-warping.

  • Publication number: 20220015920
Abstract: The present invention relates to an intervertebral fusion device (10) comprising a superior component (20), an inferior component (40) receivable in an intervertebral space between first and second vertebrae, with the core component (80) insertable between the superior and inferior components to determine a separation between the superior and inferior components. The superior, inferior components and core components comprise respective formations and profiles. The formations (54, 68) present a barrier to separation of the core from one of the inferior and superior components during insertion of the core component. The profiles guide the core component during insertion of the core component while presenting no barrier to separation from each other during its insertion. The components comprise further formations (39, 76) which present a barrier to separation of the components from each other once the core has been fully inserted between the inferior and superior components.

  • Patent number: 10852955
Abstract: A storage system includes a communication fabric, a storage module, a client device having an object descriptor (OD) generator to generate object descriptors (ODs) to access data stored in storage devices of the storage module. The storage system further includes a first control module (CM) coupled to the client device and the storage module via the communication fabric to manage accesses of the storage module. The first CM is adapted to receive a request from client device to access a data object stored in the storage module, where the request includes an OD uniquely identifying the data object and created by the OD generator of the client device. In response, the first CM examines a first object descriptor table (ODT) associated with the first CM to determine whether the OD is valid, and if the OD is valid allows the storage module to service the request.
