  • Patent number: 11049340
Abstract: A system for monitoring the use of one or more lift devices used for raising or lowering the landing gear of a semi-trailer. A data management module within the system includes a suite of features which are used to take received lift device data and convert it into an easily understood graphical representation. Each lift device is configured to transmit data related to its operation to the data management module of the system which then displays the lift device data as a graphical representation and/or data set according to the type of user using the system. The lift device data which is displayed to the user can include an amount of torque applied to the lift device, the number of times the lift device has been activated, or any other data point which gives the user an overall snapshot of the performance of the lift device(s) under their control.

  • Patent number: 10556572
Abstract: A device and method used to raise or lower the landing gear of a semi-trailer. The device is coupled to the landing gear of the semi-trailer and actuates the landing gear according to user selection. The user may select to actuate the landing gear through a motorized gear assembly within the device, by optionally attaching a handle to the landing gear via the device, or by engaging a separate motorized hand tool to the landing gear via the device. To use the handle or the motorized hand tool, the user actuates a shift lever disposed on the device which disengages the related mechanical means for actuating the landing gear. The flexibility for actuating the landing gear allows a user to raise or lower the landing gear according to the surrounding circumstances or in case one of the means for actuating breaks or fails.

  • Publication number: 20180065456
Abstract: An apparatus and method for disposing a cover over an automobile. The apparatus is placed on the highest portion of a vehicle and then activated by either actuating an app on a mobile device or by actuating the apparatus itself. The apparatus then raises a shell and exposes a cover that is disposed about a rotating body. A motor disposed within the apparatus then begins to spin the rotating body which expands the cover out over the vehicle. Once fully deployed, the user may secure the cover to the vehicle. To retract the cover, the user releases the cover from the vehicle and then activates the apparatus to spin the rotating body in the opposing direction which draws the cover back into the apparatus. The apparatus may be powered by a plurality of batteries or recharged by the sun via a solar panel disposed within the surface of the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20170061503
Abstract: A system and method for clients to generate, manage, and send interactive advertising to a plurality of users or consumers. A client, a server, and at least one user device interact with one another over a pre-existing communication network such as the internet. The client generates an interactive advertising campaign by uploading selected media to a server via a web site. The client may also set a plurality of settings associated with the interactive advertising including the age range of individuals the advertisement is to be sent to, the location of individuals the advertisement is to be sent to, among others. The server then distributes the interactive advertisement to the determined user devices through the context of a game application. Results of the consumers interacting with the game application is stored and tracked for the client. The client may also update the settings associated with the interactive advertising at any time.

  • Publication number: 20160100711
Abstract: A device for removing the liquid stored or contained within a food item. The device comprises a first half and second half that are coupled together via hinge. Disposed on the inner surfaces of the first and second halves are a plurality of protrusions, each of which comprise a sharpened tip and a scalloped indentation for aiding in the draining of the liquid from the food item. Once a food item is placed in the device, the two halves are brought together and squeezed which drives the protrusions into the food item. Liquid within the food item then seeps out of the food item, down the scalloped indentation of the protrusions, and then finally out of the nozzle tip of the device. Once the desired amount of liquid has been removed, the device is opened and the food item is lifted out of the device.
