Patent number: 11669496Abstract: There is provided a method and apparatus for remote differential compression (RDC) and data deduplication. According to embodiments, when a sending device acquires a new target file, the following steps are performed. Initially, Jaccard segmentation is performed, followed by performing identity-based segment deduplication and similarity-based segment deduplication. The transmission of the target file in the deduplicated form to the recipient device is subsequently performed. The recipient device can then rebuild the original target file from the deduplicated form thus replicating the target file at the recipient device with the target file originally present at the sending device.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2021Date of Patent: June 6, 2023Assignee: HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES CO., LTD.Inventors: Dmitry Borzov, Mikhail Ignatovich, David Ramón Prados

Patent number: 10266784Abstract: This patent relates to a lubricating oil with added decorated graphene nanoparticles, which is called nanolubricant. This nanolubricant has automotive and industrial applications and offers as major benefits, simultaneous improvements in the thermal, rheological and tribological properties of the lubricant used as base fluid. Additionally, this nanolubricant offers a rheopectic behavior from a specific concentration, the same behavior that gives it the ability to increase its viscosity over time provided it is subjected to a constant cutting rate. Finally, the decorated graphene may include metallic, ceramic or polymeric nanoparticles, in a concentration range of 0.5% weight/weight to 2% w/w without changing the newtonian fluid behavior of the base lubricant, whereas for concentrations greater than 2% weight/weight and up to 3% weight/weight, the aforementioned rheopectic behavior will be observed.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 2014Date of Patent: April 23, 2019Assignee: INSTITUTO TECNOLÓGICO Y DE ESTUDIOS SUPERIORES DE MONTERREYInventors: Edgar David Ramon Raygoza, Carlos Ivan Rivera Solorio, Enrique Gimenez Torres

Patent number: 8791607Abstract: The present invention relates to an electric linear drive, particularly for a rotary-lifting motor. Such a linear drive includes a winding system including a plurality of wound coils which are arranged to be coaxial to each other and successive in axial direction, and a magnet system which is movable in axial direction relative to the winding system and includes a plurality of axially successive permanent magnets. The winding system is normally fed by a controlled converter. The coils of the winding system and the permanent magnets of the magnet system define an air gap thereinbetween. Furthermore, a sensor is provided for detecting the relative movement of winding system and magnet system and for detecting the relative position of the two systems, the sensor being used for scanning a timing ruler mounted on the outer circumference of the magnet system.Type: GrantFiled: January 12, 2011Date of Patent: July 29, 2014Assignee: Maxon Motor AGInventors: Alexis Boletis, Hugo Fritschy, Remo Hofstetter, Jens Oliver Schulze, Raniero Pittini, David Ramon, Max Erick Busse-Grawitz
