  • Publication number: 20240082865
Abstract: A mask forming system for protecting a structure and a method of forming a mask for protecting the structure includes a masking material having a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer sandwiched together. The masking material is unrolled across a platform and a plurality of features are generated in the masking material, wherein the features include printing, kiss cutting, and double-kiss cutting the masking material. Data is printed on the first layer of the masking material. The first layer of the masking material is kiss cut. The second layer of the masking material is double-kiss cut. The third layer remains uncut and unprinted on during the formation of the mask. The masking material remains in the same orientation during printing and kiss cutting of the first layer, and the masking material remains in the same orientation during double-kiss cutting of the second layer.

  • Patent number: 11926114
Abstract: This disclosure includes methods and apparatus for forming a non-pneumatic tire carcass comprising an inner hub, an outer band, and a plurality of spokes. The method includes arranging the inner hub, the plurality of spokes, and the outer band to form a curing assembly arranged in a first arrangement within a forming apparatus, where the inner hub is arranged concentrically within a radially inner annular side of the outer band and the plurality of spokes are arranged between the outer band and the inner hub. The plurality of spokes are forced in opposite radial directions from the first arrangement and to a second arrangement, where each spoke of the plurality of spokes is forced in a curing position against the inner hub and towards the outer band in a curing arrangement. The plurality of spokes are then cured to each of the inner hub and outer band.

  • Publication number: 20160262550
Abstract: What is provided is an apparatus and a method of using an apparatus for dividing a bed. This apparatus is durable, readily removable, and provides a greater degree of privacy to bedmates than existing solutions. The apparatus comprises a cushion entirely enclosed within a fitted sheet. The fitted sheet with the cushion are positioned on the top of a mattress. The fitted sheet comprises at least one zipper for creating an opening to insert and remove the cushion from the fitted sheet, at least one fastener for attaching and detaching the cushion from the fitted sheet, and at least one flap. The cushion may be entirely enclosed within and attached to the fitted sheet prior to positioning both the fitted sheet and the cushion on the mattress.

  • Publication number: 20060119089
Abstract: A stabilizing leg apparatus for stabilizing a trailer during the loading or unloading of goods transported by the trailer is provided. The trailer includes a transport container and a wheel assembly coupled to the transport container. The transport container has a front end, a rear end, and an underside having a width extending between a first side and a second side of the container. The wheel assembly is located between a lengthwise midpoint of the container and the rear end of the transport container. The stabilizing leg apparatus includes at least one stabilizing leg and a drive mechanism. The stabilizing leg is mounted adjacent the rear end of the transport container and is selectively operable between a transport position wherein the stabilizing leg does not contact ground and a stabilizing position wherein the stabilizing leg does contact ground. The drive mechanism is configured to move the stabilizing leg from the transport position to the stabilizing position.

  • Patent number: 6336474
Abstract: An improved hose is used to install loose fill insulation. The hose includes projections extending from an inner surface which serve to condition the insulation as it proceeds through the hose and is dispensed. In a first exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the projections are formed so as to be perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the hose. In a second exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the projections are formed so as to be angled, by an angle less then ninety (90) degrees with respect to the longitudinal axis of the hose. In a third exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the projections are formed with a serrated edge. In a fourth exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the projections are formed as part of a cap member which is disposed around the periphery of the hose. In a fifth exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the projections include an additional perpendicular projection member extending therefrom.
