Abstract: A load control system may include control devices capable of being associated with each other at one or more locations for performing load control. Control devices may include control-source devices and/or control-target devices. A location beacon may be discovered and a unique identifier in the location beacon may be associated with a unique identifier of one or more control devices. Upon subsequent discovery of the location beacon, the associated load control devices may be controlled. The beacons may be communicated via radio frequency signals, visible light communication, and/or audio signals. The visible light communication may be used to communicate other types of information to devices in the load control system. The visible light communication may be used to identify link addresses for communicating with load control devices, load control instructions, load control configuration instructions, network communication information, and/or the like.

  • Patent number: 12004725
Abstract: A device which illuminates internal tissue and organs of a patient is described. The illumination member includes an array of light-emitting diodes (“LEDs”). The arrangement of the array depends on the configuration of the device and the procedure for which the device is being used. In all cases, the illumination member is used to illuminate relevant organs or structures in the body in order to increase visibility during surgical procedures. The LED array reduces the potential for inadvertent injury to internal structures for procedures located throughout the body. These procedures include those involving the reproductive organs of males and females, gastric and bariatrics, and other structures in the abdomen.

  • Publication number: 20240184342
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing a cooling system to based on dynamic power and temperature conditions of computing hardware (e.g., a system on a chip (SOC), respective hardware blocks on the SOC). For example, systems described herein involve tracking real-time power and temperature conditions of computing hardware and determining a dynamic cooling level to actuate in maintaining a desired temperature of the computing hardware. This is done in a way that preserves long-term durability of the cooling system while maintaining the ability of the cooling system to respond to a potential spike in power consumption by the computing hardware.

  • Publication number: 20240185238
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for the direct sharing and use of transaction data separately from transaction authorization processes. Transaction metadata associated with a transaction may be received and validated. Authorization information corresponding to the transaction may be received. The degree to which the transaction metadata is tested may be based on a predicted time of receipt of the authorization information. The transaction metadata and authorization information may be correlated. A computing device may determine whether to authorize the financial transaction based on the authorization information and the correlated transaction metadata. All or portions of the transaction metadata may be provided to one or more users after the transaction has been authorized or denied.

  • Patent number: 11999269
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to vehicles capable of autonomous driving. These vehicles may include seats for accommodating different numbers of passengers. In some cases, the seats may be reconfigurable. For instance, a vehicle may include a first row of seating having a first, passenger use configuration. The first row may allow a passenger to sit in a seat of the first row of seating and access user input controls for the vehicle. The first row of seating may also have a second, folded configuration where the first row is in a folded configuration and no longer usable for passenger seating. The vehicle may also have a second row of seating. When the first row of seating is in the second, folded configuration, the second row of seating may still be usable for seating and may include additional legroom for the passenger as compared to when the first row of seating is in the first passenger use configuration.

  • Patent number: 12002255
Abstract: A system and method are presented for the design and fabrication of arrays of vacuum photodiodes for application to solar power generation. In a preferred embodiment, each photodiode cell comprises a microfabricated enclosure with a hermetically sealed vacuum, an absorptive photocathode, and a transparent anode, wherein the photocathode and the anode are separated by a vacuum gap of less than about 20 micrometers. Light incident on the photocathode through the anode leads to a flux of electrons passing from the photocathode across the vacuum gap to the anode. In a further preferred embodiment, the photocathode is backed by a reflection layer with, e.g., controlled diffuse reflection, thus increasing the efficiency of energy extraction. An array of such cells may be manufactured using automated thin-film deposition and micromachining techniques.

  • Patent number: 12000053
Abstract: Methods and systems for generation and deployment of a structurally altered gas molecules derived from water are provided. An example method includes combining purified water with a compound mixture. The compound mixture is non-reactive with the water and a conductor of an electric field and a magnetic field. The method includes applying the magnetic field and the electric field to the combination of the purified water and the compound mixture to cause generation of the structurally altered gas molecules. The structurally altered gas molecules have a higher probability of attraction of electrons into areas adjunct to the structurally altered gas molecules than molecules of the purified water. The method further includes introducing the structurally altered gas molecules into an environment of a chemical process. The structurally altered gas molecules facilitate electron transfers during the chemical process, thereby increasing output of the chemical process.
