  • Publication number: 20220348434
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an ergonomic tape holder onto which a roll of tape is mounted and secured. In particular, the ergonomic tape holder is a single-piece and unitary constructed apparatus having vertical towers disposed on a fixed based which prevents the roll of tape from shifting, rolling, or moving about the base.

  • Publication number: 20210361065
Abstract: Support brackets for an enclosure system can be secured to the enclosure system while the enclosure system is assembled and without removing fasteners from the enclosure system. A support bracket can include first and second slots dimensioned to engage first and second bolts that are fastened to an enclosure frame. The support bracket can further include a support flange, and a stud to engage and support a side panel. When secured to the support bracket, the side panel can provide an additional mounting surface for mounting electrical components within an enclosure.

  • Patent number: 6203345
Abstract: A flexible circuit connector includes a housing defining an interior space for receiving a flexible circuit. Conductive contacts are retained in the housing, each having a concave portion extending into the interior space for electrically engaging the flexible circuit. An actuator pivotally attached to the housing for being moveable between an open position where an opening is formed between the actuator and the housing for insertion of the flexible circuit into the housing and a closed position where the actuator engages and thus securely retains the circuit board in the housing. The contacts are arranged to have the concave portions thereof substantially aligned with a rotational axis of the actuator for reducing coupling force required for moving the actuator from the open position to the closed position. At least one inspection window is defined in the housing in communication with the interior space for visual inspection of the flexible circuit received in the housing.

  • Patent number: 6129573
Abstract: An FFC connector having a strain relief comprises an elongate dielectric housing having front and rear faces. The front face defines a lengthwise slot for receiving a flat flexible cable therein. The housing defines a plurality of passageways in communication with the slot. Each passageway receives a terminal therein for electrical connection with an inserted flat flexible cable. The strain relief is assembled to the housing for attaching a portion of the flat flexible cable to the housing thereby limiting any motion between cable conductors of the flat flexible connector and contacts of the terminals.

  • Patent number: 6004156
Abstract: A flat flexible cable connector includes an insulative housing defining a receiving cavity for movably receiving an actuator. The housing defines a plurality of channels for receiving and retaining conductive contacts. Each contact has a fixed arm retained in the housing and a resilient arm extending into the space. The actuator has a tongue insertable into the receiving cavity. The tongue has a top face for retaining a leading end of a flat flexible cable whereby when the tongue is inserted into the cavity, the flat flexible cable engages with the resilient arms of the contacts. A plurality of spaced slots are defined in a bottom face of the tongue for guidingly receiving the fixed arms of the contacts thereby guiding the insertion of the actuator into the housing and eliminating transverse oscillation of the actuator.
