  • Patent number: 11877650
Abstract: Tension-stabilized table structures and frame assemblies to form simplified flat packing furniture that eliminates all fasteners, welds, support hardware and braces. Simplified assembly of pre-tensioned structures providing improved stability, uniformity of support and visual aesthetics. The support systems consist of pre-bent tubes or rods that are linked together to form spring networks that are stabilized and locked together by the balancing of tension and compression. Tabletops or tensioning elements can complete the spring networks to provide tension to the entire assembly, resulting in highly stable tables.

  • Patent number: 11548597
Abstract: Tension-stabilized furniture structures and frame assemblies to form simplified flat packing furniture that eliminates all fasteners, welds and braces. Simplified assembly of pre-tensioned structures providing improved stability, uniformity of support and visual aesthetics. The seat cover material can be netting, fibrous material or textiles. The seating system includes outwardly angled side rails having the profile of furniture, such as seats, couches, chaise lounges, ottomans and the like. The angling of the side rails secures their connection to supporting cross rails with the application of a fitted cover sleeve. The sleeves slidingly engage the frame assembly and provide tension to the frame assembly resulting in highly stable furniture.

  • Patent number: 10150538
Abstract: A self-tensioning seating system for boats with minimal wind resistance and enhanced accessibility. The seat material can be netting or a fibrous material allowing for wind to pass through. The seating system includes outwardly angled side rails having the profile of furniture, such as seats, chaize lounges, ottomans and the like. The side rails are secured within peripheral sleeves in the seat material. An embodiment of the invention provides a conversion with full body rowing functionality. The system provides robust simplified furniture frames that assemble without fasteners.

  • Patent number: 10002691
Abstract: An improved Ethernet cable with an undulating and folding jacket housing external spatial channels. The undulating housing provides for multiple connection configurations from a flat cable to rectangular block configurations. The cable has a plurality of internal electronic signal channels, each channel having a pair of conductors. Each channel is also further isolated by a multi-layer protective shield, the protective shield encasing the pair of conductors. This unique design meets the new requirements of CAT8 cables, and substantially enhances video and audio streaming and transmission speeds, while eliminating deleterious effects of prior cables.

  • Patent number: 9937993
Abstract: A flexible steering fin and passive cambering keel for sailboats having fundamental simplicity yet enhanced performance and superior operation in terms of design and components. The steering fin is a relatively short and elongated flexible blade with its leading edge fixed beneath the hull. A rod passing through the hull functions as a simple lever controlling the trailing edge of the blade, which provides both tilt and curvature for unique handling and ease of use. A separate flexible keel provides the function of tilting the keel as it is cambered, for greater lift. A unique fundamental mastless wingsail is also disclosed having minimal components and simplicity of operation. A mastless wingsail is also disclosed which utilizes a tensioned rod to replace known sail supports.

  • Patent number: 9620262
Abstract: A transmission line cable that utilizes a plurality of substantially flat insulated conductors, each consisting of two or more solid metallic strands laid side by side in a parallel configuration within an extruded insulator. The plurality of insulated conductors are stacked into groups of two or more and may be utilized as signal conductors or shield conductors. Once the insulated conductors are stacked, the stack is twisted together, and either wrapped in a conductive insulator, placed in an extruded non-conductive insulator, or both, creating a cable that is stable, flexible, and has improved transmission characteristics, including reduced attenuation, noise and signal skew.

  • Publication number: 20060239310
Abstract: The present invention provides a cable assembly and method of making thereof for use with HDMI/DVI connectors. The cable assembly of the present invention includes a flat extruded cable jacket that includes an oblong cross section. Parallel oblong orifices lie across the cross section of the extruded jacket, extend the length of the jacket and provide a means for the insertion of solid straight conductors extending through the oblong orifices. The alignment of the oblong orifices in conjunction with a cylindrical orifice provides a means to attach the conductors to a HDMI/DVI connector. The oblong configurations as associated with the present invention are also applicable for Firewire cable and provides for a flat cable assembly for use therein.
