    Abstract: An adjustable universal float for use with a liquid or fluid where a liquid is placed within the float as ballast so that the float can be adjusted to a particular specific gravity of the liquid, said float carrying a valve assembly for controlling the discharge of one or more liquids as desired from a filter housing. A deflector plate is positioned near the inlet chamber of the filter housing to direct the incoming liquid toward the inside wall of the filter housing and away from the filter element.
