  • Patent number: 11976168
Abstract: The present invention relates to a binder composition comprising component A comprising polymer(s) A1 and optionally component B comprising component B1 which is selected from the group consisting of a mono-saccharide s, disaccharides, hydroxyacetone, glycolaldehyde and mixtures thereof, wherein polymer(s) A1 comprises at least 70 wt.-% poly(amino acid)s based on the total weight of the polymers) A1 and has (have) a total weight average molecular weight Mw,total of 800 g/mol to 10.000 g/mol, wherein the binder composition comprises 60 to 100 wt.-% polymer(s) A1, and 0 to 40 wt.-% component B1, based on the total weight of the sum of polymer(s) A1 and component B1, wherein the weight amounts of the polymer(s) A1 and component B1 are selected such that the total weight of the sum of polymer(s) A1 and component B1 is 100 wt.-%.

  • Publication number: 20220324764
Abstract: Disclosed is a spherical fertiliser granulate, which contains magnesium, sulphate and urea, each with respect to the total weight of the granulate, in the following quantities: Urea, calculated as elemental nitrogen, in a quantity of 20.0 to 38.0 wt %, magnesium, calculated as elemental magnesium, in a quantity of 1.5 to 9.5 wt % and sulphate, calculated as elemental sulphur, in a quantity of 2.7 to 12.0 wt %, wherein at least a portion of the magnesium, the urea and the sulphate is present in the form of at least one of the crystalline phases of the formulae MgSO4*6 NH2—C(?O)—NH2*0.5 H2O (I) and MgSO4*4 NH2—C(?O)—NH2*H2O (II), wherein 1 to 20 wt %, in particular 3 to 18 wt % and especially 5 to 15 wt % of the magnesium contained in the fertilizer granulate, calculated in each case as elemental magnesium, is present in the form of water-insoluble magnesium salts.

  • Publication number: 20200355595
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing seed-like solid particles from at least one, but typically two starting substances, wherein the produced particles are optically detected by means of an optical detection system, wherein data of the produced particles detected optically by the optical detection system is provided, and at least one, but typically two parameters of the produced particles are determined from the optically detected data of the produced particles, wherein at least one, but typically two optically determined parameters automatically synergetically influence the production process of further particles on the basis of the optically detected data of the produced particles. The invention further relates to a device for carrying out the method and a computer program for carrying out the method.

  • Patent number: 10723632
Abstract: Magnesium sulfate granulates contain at least 90 wt. % synthetic magnesium sulphate hydrate with respect to the total mass of the magnesium sulphate granulate, and have a dry loss of less than 2 wt. % determined by drying of the granulate for 2 hours at 105° C. and 1 bar. Further, a method is used for producing said magnesium sulfate granulates and to their use in urea-containing fertilizer compositions.
