Publication number: 20230219105Abstract: One variation of a system includes: a mount defining an inlet configured to couple to a water supply; a body defining a fluid circuit and coupled to the mount; and a pressure regulator interposed between the inlet and the fluid circuit and configured to regulate water supplied at the inlet over a range of inlet pressures to a range of internal pressures less than and narrower than the range of inlet pressures. A set of nozzles arranged on the body and coupled to the fluid circuit are configured to, in response to the pressure regulator regulating a first inlet pressure down to a first internal pressure, discharge water droplets: exiting the body with kinetic energies in a range of kinetic energies; exiting the body in a first spray pattern defining a first width at a target distance below the body, and exhibiting a first volumetric ratio of water to air.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2022Publication date: July 13, 2023Inventors: Gabriel Parisi-Amon, David Shulman, Jad Nasrallah, Brian Willkom, Thomas E. Murphy

Patent number: 6429702Abstract: A class AB buffer (or amplifier) is disclosed for driving a large capacitive load. The disclosed CMOS class AB buffer can drive capacitive loads, for example, in excess of 100 pF, while operating from a voltage supply as low as 1.5 volts. The disclosed class AB buffer includes a pair of driving transistors that are cross-coupled through an amplifier and level shifting circuitry, such as transistor circuitry, and a pair of current source transistors each having a gate terminal connected to an output of the corresponding amplifier and a gate terminal of an output transistor, and a drain terminal connected to a source terminal of the driving transistors. The driving transistors are prevented from entering a linear region by connecting a drain terminal of each of the driving transistors to a positive power supply voltage. The threshold voltage of only one transistor must be overcome before the transistors conduct current, since the gate-sources of the driving and current source transistors are not in series.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 1999Date of Patent: August 6, 2002Assignee: Agere Systems Guardian Corp.Inventor: Dima David Shulman
