Patent number: 11931473Abstract: A handheld light assembly for eradicating pathogens includes a housing. A processor and a lamp are disposed inside the housing. The lamp irradiates surfaces with disinfecting ultraviolet light having a peak wavelength of 222 nm filtered to restrict illumination to between 200 nm and 230 nm within an irradiation zone. A distance measuring system includes a secondary light source generating secondary light and a photodetector for measuring distance of the secondary light to a surface being irradiated by the lamp light being reflected from the surface to the photodetector. The secondary light source is offset at an angle from the lamp thereby projecting the light beam to a central area of the irradiation zone generated by the lamp. The photodetector signals the processor to calculate a vertical distance between the lamp and the central area of the irradiation zone on the surface being irradiated from an angular projection of the secondary light.Type: GrantFiled: May 28, 2021Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: FREESTYLE PARTNERS LLCInventors: Jennifer K Rosen, Gregory D. Patent number: 11906657Abstract: A method and system device provides a unique object identification process by obtaining information from one or more of radar signals, infrared signals, optical signals, audio signals, and other signals. The method includes continuously receiving object data at the device, applying by a machine learning system, a set of parameters to process the object identification and confidence level, and outputting or updating the object identification, confidence level, and actionable recommendations. The radar data includes a Doppler signature having a wrapped signal due to a sampling rate of the radar system. The Doppler signature is used to train the machine learning system to identify drone types.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2019Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Assignee: Fortem Technologies, Inc.Inventors: David Preece, Mikko Valimaki, Mitchell Kay Oldroyd, Adam Eugene Robertson, Bryan Alan Davis, Matthew Elliott Argyle, David Thimm, James David Mackie

Publication number: 20230122037Abstract: A power tool guide having a tool plate adapted to receive a power tool. The plate has a power tool engagement clamp to engage a power tool and connect the power tool to said tool plate without the use of tools. The tool plate has opposed channels and a control lock. A support base has opposed guide rails, each of the guide rails has first and second ends. The tool plate has opposed channels that are removably mounted upon the support base opposed guide rails between the first and second ends. The channels allow the tool plate to slide upon opposed guide rails and to be easily removed from the rails. The control lock locks the tool plate with respect to the support base at a desired position along the opposed guide rails a spaced distance from the first and second ends. The support base has an edge extending from at least one of the guide rails adjacent one of the first and second ends.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 14, 2022Publication date: April 20, 2023Inventors: David Thimm, Will Koederitz, Mike Ursell, Connor Ursell, Rod Bonham, Ken Neilson, Ryan Spaulding, Alex Morck, Mark Cross

Publication number: 20220008792Abstract: Stilts such as for use by a worker at a work site. Each stilt comprises a leg support, a shoe platform, a floor platform, a riser disposed between the shoe platform and the floor platform, and side supports, wherein each side support is connected to the leg support, the shoe platform, and the riser, wherein the stilt provides rigidity to the shoe platform without having to employ springs. Preferably, the riser is easily removable such that a different size riser can be used if a different level of elevation is desired, i.e., given the user's height and the height of the work to be performed. As such, the stilts are easily adjustable with regard to height. Additionally, preferably at least one or more other components of the stilts, such as the floor platform, is easily replaceable as well.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 9, 2020Publication date: January 13, 2022Inventors: Logan Most, Eric Christie, David Thimm, Josiah LaColla, Will Koederitz
