  • Patent number: 4776314
Abstract: A switching circuit is suggested for controlling the current through an electrical consumer, in particular an electromagnetic consumer (10), whereby a field effect transistor (11) is used as a control and current measuring member being series connected to the consumer. The field effect transistor is brought into the conductive condition with the assistance of a controlling device, such as an operational amplifier which in turn is immediately controlled by switching-on enforcing means when the field effect transistor is short-circuited with respect to a power source. The switching-on enforcing means comprise a capacitor, for example.

  • Patent number: 4700305
Abstract: To provide control of a vehicle engine computer from a segmental disk transducer by indicating a specific marker angular position of the crankshaft, to, characterize a specific cylinder in a multi-cylinder engine, the disk (1) has uniformly spaced segments (10, 20, 30, 40) thereon, the number of segments corresponding to the number of cylinders; one of the segments is foreshortened, so that the passage of the leading flank (11) thereof past a stationary pick-up transducer (2) will occur at a time later than that of the leading edges or flanks (21, 31, 41) of the remaining segments. The trailing flanks (12, 22, 32, 42) of all the segments are identical, and signals derived by processing the trailing flanks can be used to obtain speed signals; by processing the leading flanks, interrupt signals are applied to an interrupt input (3f) of a vehicle computer (3) to initiate a subroutine or subprogram.

  • Patent number: 4566309
Abstract: A pressure sensor is disposed downstream of a throttle valve in the intake tube of an internal combustion engine. When the throttle valve is closed, a throttle valve switch generates a logic signal. A monitoring of the pressure sensor is effected in that upon the simultaneous occurrence of the logic signal and a pressure signal which corresponds to an abnormal or a physically impossible state when the throttle valve is closed, an alarm is triggered.

  • Patent number: 4534331
Abstract: A control device having certain criteria which must be fulfilled in order to trigger an acceleration enrichment. Criteria are a defined number of successive load values of increasing tendency and/or an actual load value with a defined distance above the arithmetic mean of a number of preceding load values. For the acceleration enrichment itself operational parameters, such as rpm, load, load gradient, temperature and number of revolutions since the triggering of the acceleration are processed.
